I'm doing great since i changed to HU but all my profits come from the button, and i actually show a -2,3bb/100 loss on the bb over a nice sample. Is this fine or should i be thinking about correcting possible leaks i might have on this position? I 3bet a bunch, fold a bunch too, flat less often, and i'm not too confortable playing post-flop OOP.
it's perfectly normal. either all of ur profits or most will come from the small blind, so obviously people have to lose from the big blind. the only time ur gonna be winning from the big blind is if ur playing really weak opponents.

its not that bad. what Im talking about is calling 3bets with that hand, or 4betting it. or checkraise/calling queen high flushes on the flop, crai rivers with underfulls.

The fun thing about omaha is that its a perfect game for maniacs and I think they are the most profitable people to play, but I understand how tilting it can be at times. I personally get a lot more tilted playing omaha8 (the perfect loose-passive game) where people chase crappy highs or lows and you split 99% of the time anyway

A. If this is you that is the gayest thing I've seen in a while.
B. Peoplemover thinks he sucks and he is generally right about these types of things as he critiques many players on their PTR wall.

kinda math question:
im 31% equity and 31% pot odds so i call to break even but i feel its all because i priced my self in with very small FE bet on turn...?!?

lets skip preflop, what postflop line produces the most money here versus a non ******ed or unknown?

Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

Hero (BB): $59.75

BTN/SB raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50, BTN/SB calls $3

Flop: ($9.00) J T 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $5.50, BTN/SB calls $5.50

Turn: ($20.00) Q (2 players)

How do you know the most +EV play without reads? You need the balanced (game theory optimal) play. In practice the pure GTO play isn't the best because we learn from experience and develop a model of the typical player.
You're taking the weighted average of strategies against a distribution of player types.

For example we categorize the field into 4 player types, A-D with some weighing (40%, 30%, 15%, 15% eg). Over time you develop an intuitive strategy that maximizes EV against the field. You can think of that as the "optimal" strategy, although it deviates from game theory optimal because you are technically doing some exploitable things, but the field won't exploit it enough.

This discussion probably isn't that important because I don't think Rush poker is sustainable unless

1) normal 6-max tables are eliminated
and/or
2) Anonymous screen names

uh I don't get this hu4rollz response? what I meant is that I would not be able to have better stats if somebody folded every hand to me. like you are so good that if somebody folds the button its -ev for you. got it?

I think I must suck really hard at either english or humour. What did my line sound like to you?

edit: Haha I just realized I called you bumhunters. I swear it was completely unintentional, please don't kill me!
