What?

HU Rake is capped at 0.75€ and it's capped to $1 on all euro sites using dollars. So yeah, in theory I'm paying like 12% more rake. But the game is also 1.5x bigger and the toughess of games won't compensate enough for that -> my winrate might not be just as good ptbb/100 but it still is more €/hr after $ -> € conversion (NL100€ vs NL$100).

And even if I would be playing 6max on Entraction (I don't fwiw), if we assume I'd win 4ptbb on $$$ sites or 3ptbb on €€€ sites, it would still mean I win 12.5% more, plus 50% more rakeback. So, it sucks that the SH rakecap is at 3€, but it's not really as bad as it looks.

e:
Also, I'm currently fed up with ongame software, I'm getting like 50-100 hands/hr less because for past few weeks it has been freezing all the time, which also causes all the fish to leave tables btw. And after PropagandaPoker merged with Betsafe, I don't have any decent deal for iPoker. I had old 50% rakeback equivalent deal for Entraction so I decided to try playing there and I've been happy so far.

It's still really easy to find a good rakeback deal on iPoker Network.
BTW, I find the games harder on iPoker than Stars or FT. I don't know why.

Do you stay at your tables when you go to bed Syous? iplaypokeher does this, he sits out at his 10+ A-tables for hours. Thats just terrible for the game. Like we don't already have way too many empty HU tables.

If you want to play and he just blocks your tables it is obv not cool.

I know... Tho finding sites that have EU licence is a bit harder afaik. I'm sure there's a few, but haven't bothered looking for one yet.

IDK what's HU like there, but at at least smallstakes 6max games are worse than in any other network.

ive done it literally about 7 times my entire life, i just dont get when people say its so terrible for the games. a fish sees me sitting out and then goes okay im not gonna play? the best argument you can make is that it gives me a little more action than other regs but if i do it when i wake up its the same.

what do you guys think about stars having added the euro currency to cash games. its currently in beta testing and only a couple are up on 6max to 2/4 euro stakes but would people play them if they made euro tables for hu? what do u think are the pros/cons?
*******HU CASH Regs thread******* Quote
12-06-2009 , 03:09 PM
pros: finally not dependent on a ****ty currency anymore while playing on a good site

cons: ???

The Euro tables even seem softer
*******HU CASH Regs thread******* Quote
12-06-2009 , 03:37 PM
cons: possibly rake... what's the cap?
pros: everything else

If only they'd get EU license...

just downloaded the stars software cos i was considering putting some money on there.

My god, the stars lobby is the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen. I have no idea how many tables there were with 1 guy sitting, but jesus christ it was a lot.

Do you guys ever get any action? :S

I don't know. I think no but:

- You wait more time for games.
- Average fish level is not lower, even a little bit higher.
- Players turnover is higher than ST/FT/UB.
- Rake suks a lot at 100NL.
- Not a ton of action.
- Impossible to find a reg who accept to play you execpt 3BetMan11 (but he's good )

Why the advantage for u of the site having a licence? I suppose you're from sweden. In this case, you poker incomes aren't taxed if you play on euro licensed websites right?
