I don't enjoy the poker lifestyle either. I play on my own. So I'm basically on my own in front of a computer 6/7 hours a day. Plus the swings are stessful.
Poker frees you up to work when you want though and you can go traveling too, something I plan to do a lot of next year.. Maybe I'll even move into a poker house.
Myself I have a very good degree and could be earning 50k in a job right now.. It's only because of the recession being out of control at the beginning of the year that I seriously pursued poker...
