So fricking unreal Stars has done nothing about this yet. I am blocking as many tables of Smallfrybigf and Morph2oo6 as long as they continue playing this "never leave good tables, sit out while not playing" game. I encourage you guys to do the same.

It gets me annoyed at how many people sit out for long period on the A tables - it takes ages at 1/2 to even find someone sitting in. I would really encourage people to block those table especially to people who regularly sit out all the time. It does a couple of things: fish looking for tables actually find a game and won't leave and play 6 max or whatever, faster for regs waiting to get action, clears up the lobby and doesn't give an incentive for people to sit at 5+ tables. Better for everyone apart from the people constantly sitting out.

I mean, it's not like they are eating lunch or something. 100% they are sleeping or away then 8 or 10 or 12 hours later when they are ready to play again they just sit in and insta have good tables while the rest of us have to try to scrounge for what's left. It's been this way for almost a year and Stars has done nothing to fix it. Every time I have emailed them about it after having to explain to them for the 50th time why it's unfair they give some BS answer about looking into solutions when they do nothing. Amazing that Full Tilt is actually trying to fix the problems over there and Stars does nothing while their problem is much, much, much worse. Time we start policing it ourselves.

Stars doesn't do anything because they know that fish go bust 20 times faster playing someone HU. From the point of view of the Stars business model they want the fishes' money to be circulating in the poker economy for as long as possible so they can rake it the maximum amount. If a fish sits with a bumhunter and goes broke in 10 minutes that money is gone and is unlikely to circulate the player pool. The truth is, most HU players are a parasite to the poker economy. This is why most sites pay little attention to HU... that and the fact that HU gamers overall generate little rake in comparison to 6 max and fullring.

If anything the current joke of a HU lobby on Stars suits them since there is less HU action overall and is probably the main reason why they have ignored the situation.

I took my roll off there a long time ago.

Well I think it makes sense to sit out on these players - overall the HU regs will benefit from this - as I explained above.

Please not that topic again... I've seen some very good discussions the past few days and it comes again to tableblockers and reg sitting out and etc... Go on full tilt if you're US, or go on euro sites and play regs, decent players play against each other there.

Is it really the case that the A tables get that much more action? It seems like everybody assumes that. I never cared about where my table was at in the lobby...
*******HU CASH Regs thread******* Quote
03-23-2010 , 05:49 PM
its not even to do with A tables getting more action - it just means that there are a lot more table on the lobby - meaning fish take longer to find people to play or decide are a couple of times to not play HU and regs see so many tables out and decide to sit at 7 tables.
