I have been experimenting with raising bigger with big hands and so far it has been working wonderfully. Someone who plays 70% oop isnt gonna give up his blind so easily.
Based on experimental evidence I'd say opening to 5x will have zero effect on their defending range, and opening to 10x will probably make them fold the bottom 10%. (this was the first time someone decided to 3bet bluff but I did expect him to not fold very often).
Needless to say you have absolutely no need to balance. I would show down a big pair every time and they continue calling. It's almost like they're thinking "aha! I think you are bluffing this time, so I CALL"

you expressed your opinion. For the last x years where x is the number of years I have been active on this forum, I have expressed disgust for those who come here to do whatever and then when they believe they are good at poker, express that they think using this forum to educate poker players and make "the competition" better. I am and have been consistent in that, I believe. I think if you post on strat forums only in the no content threads that's fine, but once you share your opinion that sharing strat/knowledge would be Abadan thing, you move in to "you can lick my sweaty taint" territory. Nothing personal.

by "choose a specific opponent" I mean the post would read:

"villain plays 70% of his bb and 3b 23%"

not

"syous plays 70%..."

the goal would then be to talk about types of villains, and perhaps fairly narrow types, but not "how to beat syous." while obviously one could make a thread on beating for instance loose passive opponents, I think that choosing real players allows for more interesting discussion, since the combination if pre and post flop play is so important and varies from player to player. (also since it is what makes the advice differ from some random trivial one liner.)

just an fyi, this might work (10xing) against complete downies at these stakes, i just hope you dont expect to be able to use it when moving up though. obv there will be anomalies at higher stakes where you'll get a truly "special" opponent where you can 10x him, just wanted to let you know that it's almost never gonna happen. obv you'll get guys defending too wide where you can ~5x them and have them still call too much, but it is gonna be more rare the higher you move up. (dont mean to sound like an ass, just trying to help in case you believed it would continue when moving up through stakes)
