ive been table blocked by a few people and when theyve continued to do it non-stop i sent stars an email...they monitored the situation and actually sent the opponents threat emails to lock their account out if it continued.

the situation might be a bit different then mdoms but someone was actally table blocking every new table i sat at...and stars deff reacted to that

i think it would be a good way to link the theory and practice of things for players still working on their fundamentals, as well as just be fun.

anyone think this is a good idea? horrible idea?

fwiw, the first opponent i was going to post was one of those guys who plays like 65% from both positions and doesn't like to fold very much. (so i guess an oop loose passive, or a loose aggressive, depending on who i pull.)
I think the games don't need to be made any harder than they already are imo. It's a nice thought, but making even more players highly competent out there doesn't seem like the best idea, even if it is targetted more at beating up the fish.

You play PLO, you know this **** can happen.

Think of it a different way - every time you get it in good, just think to yourself "Damn I'm so good!" and then look away from the monitor. Wait until the action of shipping the pot is done, then look back, and keep playing, safe in the knowledge that you got it in good, which is your ultimate goal. If you can do that, you've already won!

this is a loser's mentality.

it is important to look at the screen and make sure you get the money; if you don't get it, you didn't do your job and are owed a flip, so move to a higher stake and draw out and then come back down.

trust me, gambler's have been doing this for ages.

originally i thought this was the one cftw was quoting saying this was a loser's mentality. if you don't believe in creating and discussing strategy threads, whatever, have fun in NVG and B4L or whatever, but stfu and move along. i wasn't asking people for opinions on if they think this would be like too much information for the public, i was asking if they thought it was worthwhile at all.

sorry if you think you would have nothing to learn from such a thread, but there are others, i'm sure, myself included, who would find such discussion valuable.

citanul

by picking a specific opponent to represent a class of opponents, do you actually mean picking out particular players? Theory talk - do whatever you want. But creating threads so a bunch of 2p2ers can have gameplans laid out for them on how to exploit someone is pretty wrong

forget all the bs about spr and positional advantage and whatnot. just base your raise size on the strength of your hand. Imo openshoving AA will show a larger profit than minraising vs a low stakes halfstack.
