DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. ****ing ridiculous. And I'm saying that despite indirectly profiting from that result, because it enabled Mike Holmgren to leave the Packers to head our way a week earlier (it was speculated that he would go to SF if their season was over when GB's ended).

Anyway, by all means I will now echo jackets's sentiment of "**** the Saints," because apparently they decided not to show up today and I have to tune in and watch another San Francisco game next week.

Dude. Teams only play 16 games a year, or at maximum 20. Football fans will try to tell you that calls even out over time, but that can only ever possibly be the case if we count a number of years back.

There is nothing acceptable about ignoring all of the breaks these stupid San Franciscans have gotten over time. The 80's and 90's count, and any thought to the contrary can suck it.

I could also name another one where they just got actively robbed all game long, Super Bowl XL* style, where they got a completely rigged win against the horrible Colts during Peyton Manning's rookie season. But for what it's worth, these calls I'm referencing all took place when the Seahawks were AFC and the 49ers were precisely none of my concern. They infuriated me not as a Seahawks fan in any capacity, but as a fan of truth and justice winning out in the world. None of what you can possibly name with regard to the Saints is going to stack up in actuality to what has gone on in the 49ers' favor.
