OriolesTornado,

The 99% of the time that she doesn't throw something deadly at him will ultimately control how he deals with that.

Looking forward to it right along with you,

Wussop,

My birthday present to you is this: I just mentally ran through a quick estimate of who my bottom five would be if I power ranked all regs and semi-regs of this thread.

You were not in the bottom five. Congrats!

Best wishes in getting out of the bottom ten in 2011,
LKJ

yeota's experience is ZZzzz standard. this happens to every single couple when they're young and experiencing the alcohol learning curve. eventually you breakup and think that relationship was full of drama after you start a new one but in reality it's just because your new one involves two more mature people. unless you're karak and try to go younger of course.

this would probably be a good point to end this one. you've banged a lot and hopefully began to realize this isn't going to be your wife in the future. you're probably not willing to admit it yet and may be insecure about what happens if you breakup. so my advice to you, which was unsolicited, is to begin retracting feelings in preparation for this breakup. don't start romanticizing your relationship, love, or bond together to justify you two staying together because it'll just make it that much harder.

pretty much every guy can look at their past relationships and think of an earlier point at which they should have broken up.

All,

One of GG's best posts ever. He seems to have improved as a poster in general lately. This is a bit unsettling as I no longer know what world I live in.

Off to read some Dostoevsky in order to better make sense of the world,

All,

Agreed re: GG's posts improving, he's probably top 5 in power rankings these days. It's odd I sort of forgot how he used to be. Which was still kinda awesome, but in a different way.

PrePubescentBeastMichael,

Happy birthday. I'm sure you'll celebrate it in good form (i.e. verbally harassing women who can't be mean because they're at work).

All,

DG situation seems to be taken care of after a little talk. I told her she is way out of line and she really needs to stop. I was emphatic. She agreed to my requests though she didn't really understand.

A couple hours later she calls me and is frantically like "OMG, I get it! I'm so sorry!" And then hangs up. I'm kinda curious what she "got," but it's best to let sleeping dogs lie, so I'll remain in wondering. It cracked me up though, soooooo bat****.

What's your guys sense of the following situ:

You're at a Walgreen's/Kroger/Publix/Safeway, looking at light bulbs with male friend. Attractive girl asks for advice on which light bulb to get ("Do you guys know anything about light bulbs?") She is:

(a) Hurtin for a squirtin
(b) Doesn't understand how light bulbs work
(c) Thinks one or both of you are attractive and wants to see what happens once a conversation starts
(d) Bastard

1. +1 to that all guys can think of a point where their past relationship should of been broken up.

2. Happy birthday {Meme}Michael.

3. I like yeota's style

4.She doesn't know anything about lightbulbs.

Karak,

CC was never that great to begin with, so it's not like his current postings are shaking things up that much.

All,

Re: light bulb girl: During the interaction, I was thinking it was B all along. So we started chatting about light bulbs and I was being pretty money and making her laugh about different color light bulbs and seasonal depression and ****. She was being chatty as well.

After like 2 minutes of talking, she has chosen her light bulb and is like, k, bye guys. I have a split second to make a decision (tell her I think she is cute and would she like to hang out, or return her goodbye). I decided to play it safe, thinking to myself, even in the very best case scenario, I'd get to bang a really dumb girl. I say "See ya."

Later my friend suggested maybe the light bulb question was just to initiate a conversation. Then I started thinking maybe I should have asked for her digits. After all, she could have been DAY GAMING me!

I agree it was almost certainly B, but wouldn't have lost anything by making a pass. In hindsight, shoulda just done it, probly never see her again.

LKJ,

You have your opinions, I have mine. I liked old GG.

Are there still people who actually look at LKJs opinion hoping to find something relevant in basing their own opinions off of?

K,

Really no reason to be a douche. I'd feel dumb if there were a series of juicy TR's all on this page, and then my stupid little situation I was thinking about. But obviously I wasn't posting it as some huge event. Just something I was thinking about and wondering what other SL guys would think in that moment. Personally, 95% of the time that I ask a girl to help me decide what to buy, it's a thinly veiled pick up attempt. So I ask SL if they think girls think like this as well.

Really only Toph, ILM (rare though), and yeota (rarer than an endangered species) have posted anything interesting lately (sorry if I'm forgetting anyone else's good TR's), so it's not like I'm cluttering up a thread of gold with my inane blabber.
