running through the house holding a plastic sword aloft and shouting "by the blood of Jesus, I have the power!" is perfectly fine though

also I don't recall that the blood of Jesus gives humans "power and authority over others" from Sunday school

pretty sure it was Satan who made promises like that actually

the plot thickens!

2p2 and my browser for some reason stopped getting along a couple of days ago.

Every few page loads/refreshes it just says "connecting" in the status bar before bringing up "oops, Google Chrome can't connect to the web page".

Refreshing it from there loads fine.

Doesn't happen on any other pages.

think I fixed the problem, for some reason 2p2 was causing TamperMonkey to crash even though it was running no scripts.

nicely done kokiri

i lived out in the sticks when i was a kid so the first movie i saw was at some sort of traveling cinema deal, they book the local village hall or w/e and bring their reels of flim and projector screens and such, i distinctly remember that Pinocchio was the first movie i ever saw

first visit to the actual and literal cinema was a double bill of Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan, good times

I remember in primary school there was a film club which used a real reel thingy, and we saw all sorts of junk. One of our dinosaurs is missing was an annual highlight, then they got a copy of Ghostbusters, and everyone's parents had to agree to let their kids see it.

We went to a provincial cinema a couple of years ago where they opened up a small ice cream kiosk up front in between the trailers and the main attraction & with a girl walking up and down in what was essentially a cigarette girl outfit, bar the cigarettes

09-20-2013 , 05:51 AM
Are we talking like Cardiff where the locals try their best to impersonate the civilisation they can see across the border, or are we talking Deep Wales?
