Okay, let's at least make this clear.

Alobar Method: If you say 3124, you mean the third girl is hottest, 1st girl is second hottest, second girl is third hottest, and fourth girl is fourth hottest.

(Correct) goofyballer method: If you say 3124 you mean first girl is third hottest, second girl is hottest, third girl is second hottest, and fourth girl is fourth hottest.

the first method is easier for the ranker since you just have to type out the girl # in order. the second method is easier for the reader since you can just match the girl to their rank
