not really. it was a 10-20 dollar valet on normal nights, and more on a big name celebrity night. we also started selling spots right by the club door (you could fit about 4 cars in this driveway area we called "vip" spaces) for obscene amounts.

since people were already paying for the valet and i got paid around 15 an hour i didnt mind it that much if they didnt tip. Jackson once whipped out 200 for himself and another 5 bobcats players behind him all in custom range rovers.

there is one guy who drove a sick aston martin vantage. he would pay 50 a night to keep it up front. i knew he wasnt an athlete and didnt recognize him as a music guy, but he fist pounded one of the security guys so i asked who he was and what he did. guy said "oh thats harold. he makes money"

there was one really busy night with rick ross performing. we were at the price where i was just naming a number and if you had to check you didnt have it. we are packed up front and some guy rolls up. I say sorry man, we are completely full in vip. he asks "how much did that last guy pay?" and I said "150", so he goes "here's my 150, plus 150 more to move him". agreed.

I've run into a ton of celebrities in Vegas over the years. All of them were douchebags except for one.

Now that Dallas is back on I remember I met Patrick Duffy (we were in same Buddhist group). Oh and Orlando Cepeda, also in said group.

My mother met Inger Stevens. I sold her autograph on ebay for $140.

I'm not 100% sure this happened, but after listening to her I think my mom did Fess Parker.

I was a teenager when Dawson's Creek came out and I loooved Katie Holmes. Years later I was at an event in NYC with a friend of mine and I was introduced to her, couldn't believe my luck. It was the same month she and Tom Cruise went public and I was hugely obsessed. These conversations are interesting to me but difficult for me. "Celebrities" react differently to different things. Some might like being objects of fascination and jealousy and starstruck awe, others might want you to please stfu and leave them alone. If they're in a scenario where people can easily meet them that usually means something has gone wrong anyway. . .

EDIT: Unless we're talking about planned meet and greets or an event or something like that.

A long time ago Charley Pride came in the store I was working. I was working in the customer service booth and I asked the girl that was working with me if she knew who he was.
