Yes, they're far too pro-immigration and socially liberal to qualify as "far right" by European standards. Limiting immigration - doesn't have to be illegal - and opposing the supposed corrupting influence of left-liberals on social mores are the foundational issues of the European far right.

The European far right doesn't really have a coherent pan-European position on the topic of US military interventionism. They emphasize their own country's national interest over humanitarian concerns, but how that translates to views of the US and NATO differs by country.

On those specific issues, the current Democratic president elect ran on a platform that called for 1.) reducing incarceration rates by lowering sentences for nonviolent crime, 2.) raising taxes on the rich, and 3.) expanding access to health insurance while increasing the government's role in providing health care. So a reasonable European will acknowledge that he ran as a centre-left candidate, even if some of those policy goals still leave him in right-wing territory by the standards of many European countries.

he did run on reducing incarceration rates, but he wants to reduce them to rates that are about 5x that in europe! so if it was europe he'd be increasing them more than anyone ever

same goes for raising taxes on the rich. he wants to raise them to rates that are waaaay lower than in europe.

and he does want to expand healthcare access, but he want to expand it to such limited access that europeans would never consider voting for him.

his biggest accomplishment in govt is the 1994 crime bill which is largely responsible for the largest rates of imprisonment in the world.

usa has famous wealth inequality that biden perpetuates.

The entire “they stole the race” rhetoric is rooted in racism. It has been since it seemed inevitable Black cities were going to deliver the final votes. Trump was talking about Detroit and Philly as corrupt horrible places. They do feel like it was stolen from them, by Black Americans.

I have never really watched FOX much before. Coverage is interesting last couple of hours.

They have already moved on from Trump

They are going with Trump has the "right" to pursue things, but there is no evidence of large scale fraud anywhere...

They wonder why his allegations are talking about looking for evidence of fraud, rather than citing them

They are talking about Biden being a Centrist could make working with him easier.

They are focussed on the Senate runoffs

They also note that the more Biden starts planning and announcing positions in his Cabinet, etc, the less anyone will care about Trump's allegations.

I think the next stage of grief and anger from Trump is going to be directed against his own party, and not again the Dems. He is going to be very, very angry that the people he helped win are/will be basically abandoning him.
