Me and Gamer flipping on our reads on SJG has me scratching my head in a weird way. I mean I am thinking he is more town for his recent posts, but Gamer is reading him more scummy for his current posts.

*makes notes for later*

And also which of Rokk/Law should go toDay?
In short idk about Pres Eden, I was trying to cajole him into posting y'day, some people need cajoling, others have to be begged or bullied y'know, he said he's busy irl but will start to produce and I'm trying to be patient. jcohen pointed out Eden's posts at EOD y'day and said why he thought they were wolfy, I can see his point of view but I was part of the intereaction and didn't think they were wolfy at the time.

His huge analysis post where he concludes that cory is definitely villa and that I could be a wolf is pretty ridiculous and I'm loathe to give him a villa lean for it but I think it's kinda villagery. I expect to go from cajoling him to bullying him as the day progresses and my fury begins to rise.

As for sjg I had him as villagery y'day and I don't think many other people did but his recent posting is out of control horrible in terms of his analysis but I haven't quite caught up with all of it yet, not sure what to do with him atm.

If I had to choose between rokk and law I'd go for rokk but I don't know if he knows how to play any other way than he already does, I'm starting to feel bad about pushing him tbh it feels like I'm kicking a puppy.

Thanks very much for the thoughts on the players I asked about Moocher.

Just one more read I would like, and that's Gamer, more so his recent posts. And to clarify, Pres Eden is a null?

The concept. The way you've gone about using it though I disagree with. The main part that irks me is the suspicion you have towards Moocher. You are the only one it seems who believes the exchange between Mooch and Guild paint Mooch negatively. This just doesn't sit right with me.

Then you follow with a lynch analysis. Now again, I'm all pro analyzing lynch trains, but in a game where there is no majority lynch, both scum and town have the freedom to cast votes wherever they please without worry about majority being achieved.

So EOD lynches have much more credibility than a mid day vote count. We missed out on that due to a peeked wolf. So you trying to analyze a mid day lynch, we votes mean less is odd. but even more so where you try to categorize where scum are on that specific count. They are all merely shots in the dark and I find it troubling how you managed to come to those conclusions.

Basically you did nothing to worry me D1 and D2 you are employing strategies in odd manners which are beginning to make me suspicious.

I've thought Gamer was villa since early on, I've a feeling we have quite a lot of similar ideas about WW but that's something to talk about in the postgame.

If forced to choose I'd say Pres is villa but I'm not happy with the info I'm being given to make that read.

Ok, I've re-read djarm and I still dislike the fact he has done almost no scumhunting, almost no interactions with other players and almost nothing that even hints at an attempt to work out the game. He has been pretty much useless this game.

The big stumbling block for most people voting for djarm would appear to be his Guild vote. To be honest I don't see why this is an issue. It could easily be distancing in my opinion.

When djarm switched, Guild is on 2 votes and Synonym is on 7 votes. Djarm's vote merely puts Guild up to 3 votes, compared to Synonym it hardly puts him in danger of a lynch. He then does nothing to push the Guild lynch and his longest set read was about Guild after the Wolf reveal, which seems like a classic example of trying to look busy without actually doing anything useful.

Anyway, I think I'm done for the night. I've posted plenty for people to interact with so I should wake up with some conversations to have tomorrow.

I think I'll do Lawrence next on my list of 4.

what did gamer do to earn an early villa lean? I remember basically nothing notable from him on d1.

I am trying to change that, but seriously everyone just keeps on telling me to be patient/they are catching up/etc. and I am getting impatient with the lack of actual talking. Cool, everyone has reads but we need to actually connect people to others that way once more bodies begin to pile up we can see who is scum/town based on their interactions. I mean look at the Guild vs. Me debate, without that people would not like me so much. We need more of a similar things.

@Nick: You said Lawrence was at the top of your scum-list, would you vote him then? And if so, why are you not voting him now? I find it odd you are voting dils>lawrence since he ranks higher.
Was voting Lawrence all day. It got boring. Also Lawrence made a few decent posts today. I like my dils vote cause other people haven't said anything about him so I want to put at least a bit of pressure there while Lawrence already has attention.

Also, at Lawrence, my read on luck is tone. I've brought it up a few times, but honestly would have to read my own posts to remember the specific instances that made me feel good about him. Mostly the manner of read delivery.

The two quotes you highlighted:

I never claimed the absence of an interaction was a scumread. Never. Not once except in a possible POE setting. What I said was that an interaction was a sign of town, which I have argued for since that point. You clearly didn't grasp my point there.

As for it being a bit new and a little experimental, it is. But it makes sense in theory.

I don't mean to chime in, but I do remember liking Gamer more D1 than disliking him. D2...still thinking on Mr. Nully-null.

I dont think you know how interactions work (or at least work in the WW world I am from). We usually make 10-20 posts in 15-30 min back and forth on a topic. If it is something that needs a lot of debate then everyone chimes in and it can span tons more posts over hours.

I still do this. Especially if they are a newer player. If they are a vet, I send various loving insults.

idk what your read on luckbox is on tone, but I caution you against reading him as you would a player who lays things out in an A-->B=C type manner.

What suspicion of Moocher? I said the interaction between him and Guild was WIFOM in my opinion. That is not painting him negatively. He is on my list of players to analyse today through the vote count but that doesn't mean I'm suspicious of him yet, just that I'm going to re-read him as the data seems to be pointing to him being a potential scum.

I disagree with this. I play on a site without majority lynch and I've caught a lot of scum using just voting data.

Midday data isn't as useful as end day data. It still has some use though so I'll try using it as it's the best I've got at this point.

This bolded bit is a bit of a contradiction. To have someone as a potential scum, you have to be semi-suspicious of them and does paint Moocher in a negative light through your posts.

Just saying.

I dont really agree with this. I think it just means that he doesnt consider him clear which is far from consensus but ok.
