what is interesting is that they should have not guessed nut last round given it was likely theirs and it was our top word on our list

if they hold off guessing it and just make it their first backup, then filthy has to clue hole+agent+novel as a 3 clue since nut isn't ours

I think cliff & hotel is a very solid guess. I'd put Snow third, given that the Shining takes place in the winter

If you're >50% that it is, then I would say we should do Hotel/Cliff/Pass, with maybe Hospital as backup. That sounds like the next most logical answer. Overlook Hospital could be a setting for a TV show or movie that I can't put my finger on.

Surely there's better clues than Overlook for Cliff/Snow (e.g. avalanche) and Hotel/Snow (e.g. igloo)?

I could get behind Snow, but only if Cliff is wrong. I think Hospital if Hotel is wrong. Cluing this for Cliff/Snow would be horrendous, and I have more respect for IBD than that.
