If Ruler and Himalayas are both ours, that means one of those is a cross clue (assuming Park is ours, which it definitely should be). I think this is probably an attempt to get us off Mass, otherwise id expect king - unlimited as mentioned before.

Are you cool with the order being Ruler/Park/Himalayas? We can do your order if you feel strongly about it, but if you don't...I feel like Park is more certain here. I feel like Himalayas and Glass are closer to 50/50 then Park is to being incorrect.

Normally I’d guess more than just ice cream for dessert otherwise he’d have done a very specific clue. Thinking maybe glass, but then “dish” seems like a better clue here.

I’m fine with firing our top four here and then debating whether the last word is tail or something we can relate to dessert.

4 - if Park is wrong
3 - if Park is right but Mass is wrong
unlimited for 2 - if Park/Mass is right but Ruler is wrong

I can't clue 2 here because you could only guess 3.

Since the clue was a little esoteric (and not super straightforward like Nich's "dessert"), I was hoping you'd clue in on the fact that it was for 2 and to say the top 2 on your list.

I know I clued n-1, but fire was neutral and I needed to clue all 4 because I wasn't gonna be able to pair ice cream + tail, etc. Nice job figuring out I went with arachnura instead of spider or similar because I needed tail also



for ice cream, it was tough to get a very super specific ice cream-only word...Gelato coulda had you thinking Greece for the Europe connection, Sundae gets glass, frozen himalayas, popsicle maybe park, etc. Was easy to second guess every word I thought of for ice cream

so with this list, he went unlimited, which means definitely top 2 are correct: park+mass or he wouldn't go unlimited

so then the question is what about words 3&4 (fire was already revealed neutral)?


if ruler is yours, then since you need 4 words, he would do a specific word just for the final word (like Everest for Himalayas) so you'd know it's 1 + the next 3

if all 4 are yours, he'd re-clue the last clue - 4

by giving a word like Ming, you know ruler isn't yours (even tho it sucks here that Ming was a ruler, which made it much muddier than desired) so then you go park+mass+2 ming words (hopefully glass bc Ming famous for vases and Himalayas for geographic connection)
