Yeah, I agree with the notion and I wasn't meaning to deny the pairing completely, Riki, but I think Wolves would be more likely to joke around than directly interact with each other so early, especially if they're new to each other.

No Lynches' posts didn't come off in the same way since he was talking to himself and not really entering. But he didn't really strike me as towny or scummy. I wasn't voting him out of any real motive except that he was around to talk, anyways.

I switch to Jry because I like pushing the big wagons early -- it's a habit of mine, and I think you'll find the same if you dig up any recent games of mine.

My point wasn't that you weren't contributing, it was that this isn't a strong reason to jump on a wagon. i.e. I was questioning your rationale for the vote. Jrylie had also posted a fair bit when you voted him and it was quite likely he'd continue to do so. How much more did you expect him to contribute by voting him?

Jrdrylie - Inauthentic, mauvaise foi, concerned with keeping up appearances.
Soah - Takes on an authoritative air, but I've yet to see anything that suggests alignment one way or the other
Pheonicks - Likes jumping on wagons for spurious reasons.
Kawamii - Their reaction to Mashi's vote seems disproportionate
Mashi - I like infrequent long weighty posts rather than hundreds of relatively insubstantial offerings so for reading comprehension reasons I've got a vested interested in keeping this player alive
Riki - Doesn't seem happy to be here.

I think, at the time, there were a couple questions he'd missed. (Though I've since done the same so I can't hang him over that anymore.) But I like to jump on the wagons to see what happens -- it's a quirk of mine, and I guess I don't ever like to explain myself well when I do it because it's much more interesting when I don't.

Jry wasn't the only person who reacted -- really, half the town has an opinion on me now, which is interesting to me because I know I'm town, but this is a terrible defense so drop this line of thought. It's easier for me to scumhunt this way.

It was a tone/gut thing. Felt like relaxed joking around and just in general relaxed-ness. Though thinking about it a little, the whole thing might just be Spruce-ish more than townish. Looking at it again it feels nuller than it did this morning.

I'm not getting really strong vibes yet, though I'm wanting to lean townish on ash, except for the absence and all. I liked the "duh" stuff, but then I remembered Scum haven't yet been able to talk privately, so...

I lean townish on Gnaw, but I keep flip-flopping on that.

I actually like Jrdrylie for Town.

Kami and Mashi seem somewhat on a different wavelength than most, but that could be good or bad.

I really want Lissa to be Town, and nolemon, but they strike me as excellent and cautious players worth watching.

I have No Lynches as Town, and I'd love to follow soah if I could be sure that's wise.

If I had to pick 3 Scum right this moment it would be Mashi, notquitethere, and Phoenicks, but that's with the thinnest of margins.

Phoenicks, for example, seems too obvious to be Scum, and his hypocop post was OK.

Riki is a big question mark to me.
