It's the opposite imo. Active wolves give more info if they live longer. Also active players tend to become easier to figure out if we give them a few days.

And people know I enjoy bussing as a wolf so it doesn't even matter what my role is-- basically I should always just be listened to.
And the thing about aao this game-- he isn't Crossnerd or some low volume player. He's a fully involved wolf which is why lynching him on D1 would be so great for us. Because if we go after a utr we'll likely miss as that's what tends to happen.
This is a grand plan and all, but what's the plan for when you night kill me and I am a villager?

Great game, I'm really enjoying it! If I post in character, will someone who had my character before be able to determine my role and/or team?
Thank you!!

The reason we didn't get the new flavor out until after 9 pm last night is because we didn't want any game integrity breaches, but we still wanted people to be able to roleplay their character, claim their character, and basically have fun with it. So I (VR) instead of just resending the original writeups, plugged all the character names into the random.org list randomizer and matched them with completely different player roles. So then we reworked the flavor to work with the new role. We also had 6 extra roles that were left out of the original game that may now be in.

So yes, there may have been a villager named Johnny Appleseed in the previous rand() but even if the person who had him identifies you by your posting or claiming as being Johnny Appleseed, it will tell them ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about your powers or alignment.

Fun Fact: At least one player and possibly more received the SAME playable character as in the previous rand(). Just goes to show that random truly is random (in so far as is possible with modern randomization via the interwebs, obviously.

Hi VR and KM, thanks for the game! But I've never heard of a watcher or a tracker from the old roleset. What does that role do?
I am glad that you asked as that is newer terminology that more than one player may be unfamiliar with! Watches and tracks are two sides of the same power:

a Watch will show you any player who "visits" your target that night: if a seer peeks them or they are angeled or roleblocked or targeted by the vigilante, you will be informed of the player that chose them as a target. The wolf kill is not assigned, and as such is not watchable.

a Track will show you any player that your target "visits" that night. It won't tell you what they did, just that they did peek/block/kill/angel/etc a particular player. The wolf kill is not assigned, and as such is not trackable.

If you are "watching" a player and multiple people use powers on that player that night cycle, you learn all their names.

Can I send my action in advance? What if I have a day action and I have to be afk?
There are only three roles with day actions. The Peacekeeper can request his action at any time, but it will not activate until a full two hours into that day/posting period. The watcher/trackers can certainly request that their riddles be sent at a certain time, but I would strongly advise against it unless you KNOW you will not be afk at that time. Because the riddle clock starts from the moment we pm it to you, so you could lose time to your opponent while the pm sits in your inbox. If you want to request a specific time in advance, we will make every effort to accommodate you, but please let us know ASAP so one of us can arrange to be around.

Night actions may be submitted at any time between daybreak and the deadline, which will generally be 6 am server time.

Any other questions you guys have this morning?

UTRs become easier to figure out. And they are a lot easier to mislynch. [Kill] the wolfiest people first.

Also Luckbox, it is interesting to note that whilst others have flipped and flopped and shown thought progression on me, you have kept the same lazy 'read' on me from page 1.

You're not even trying.

You can do better.

btw Luckbox : having tunnel vision on an early wolf read is lazy regardless of your role, and bad if you are a villager.

You've continued to howl. I wanted to just let you post today without talking about you too much because you're posting better when it's directed at me and I don't want people to get the wrong idea, but I have no self-control.

I put out a wolf list with 6 names on it. How many wolves do you have?

Flip flopping around on you when you've done nothing of substance isn't too special btw. There is no need for "thought progression" when I had it right originally.
I have looked at some of your games btw. You post a lot better as a villager.

Kukraprout is very very villagery.

Luckbox you will have to forgive me if I am reluctant to follow a smug perma-wolf onto their preferred wagon. Your game is a lot like Shorty’s in that respect. You would absolutely do this as a wolf if you thought the village was buying it.

I do think aao has a good chance to be a wolf though which complicates things and kind of pisses me off.

But I'll try to ignore you for a while so go do your thing and go pretend to find some wolves. But get your claim ready still.

I would definitely not go all out for a mislynch on D1. Perhaps later in the game if I thought I had no endgame potential or if I thought it was warranted for some other reason-- but not D1 of a game like this. I probably should be doing that, and in the future I'll try. But it isn't how I've ever played as a wolf historically.

You just moved way up on my wolf list. Of course you would do that as a wolf and you know I know that. Fer chrissakes you just claimed seer to kill a random villager in a bizarre spot as a wolf. There is very little you wouldn’t do.

I thought Nez peeked me. I was certain of it. You can verify that with Shorty. So it might have seemed bizzare but from my perspective it was rational play.
And like I said-- I ought to be more aggressive as a wolf in trying to push villagers. I'm just not. I like being correct too much. It's a leak of mine.

Lol. I went to check btw because you called me an atrocious wolf yesterday-- but in the 6 games we played where I was a wolf and you were a villager, I went 4-2.
