Hmm. This is weird. I may be chiming in unnecessarily here, but I swear I remember there were concerns about this poster in the HSPLO BBV thread. Something to do with 4betfold asking for a transfer and being refused by everyone... Can't remember exactly how it went down and I apologise if this is useless info.

Did you know the guy was Joshua le Marchant? Because if you did, when you google his name the first result is a thread on 2p2 outing him as a scammer. Seems abit silly to not have made such simple checks before transferring someone a good chunk of $$.

Seriously, this guys trail is just getting ridiculous.

Surely someone can find a contact address for his family and his financial job and just alert them to these threads. I'm not saying harrass the family in any way, but this guy appears to be a dedicated scam artist, and deserves to have his antics highlighted to all around him.

just wanted to add he contacted me last thursday and asked me for a PLO 200 stake. over skype my buddy and I kind of felt like something wasnt right with him so we passed. he also couldnt provide any solid references or have any1 vouch for his integrity from the community. OP, sorry to hear about this, but I suggest this be an absolute must for you going forward (having some1 well known and respected vouch for the person seeking your stake).

fwiw he contacted me under the skype name "fourbetfold" and his name said "tom base"
