David Fryer I think ICM is pretty complete model about cEV-$EV relationship, if you accept its premises about equal skill level and how chip equity is directly proportional to winning probability. I see no reason to dismiss the latter, and I think some kind of skill level parametrization could be tweaked into calculations, if really needed
