wtf is Werewolf?

It's a forum-based game with elements of psychology, deception and behavior/interactions. It's based on the party game Mafia - the idea of an informed minority vs an uniformed majority.

Basically everyone just talks and interacts in the game thread and the villagers have to figure out who among them are wolves. The players vote to lynch (remove a player from the game) every day and every night the wolves get to kill a player too. Wolves win when they reach parity with the village. Village wins when they kill the wolves.

From a quick look at the regs, I believe it to be a device that boosts your post count into the stratosphere.

Best I could describe actually is each game is like a giant LC/Pub thread but some of the posters are 'undercover wolves' that you as a team have to find, and the wolves have to do a good job of deception

I would entertain the warewolf game, although this group of houligans itt will prob find a way to **** it up.

How long do these games usually last?

Flus suck big time. Perfect reason to drop a **** you tuesday. To end this post on an upswing, it is superbowl weekend so there's that.

The highlight of superbowl weekend is the return of 24

Turbos (9 person games, run when filled) last an hour tops with our automated software in POG. Game "days" are 20 mins and "nights" are 8 mins

Longer games (13+ players) run with longer phases, mostly 12 hour days, 12 hour nights. If you are lynched or killed, you're could be out in a day. If you survive to end game, sometimes that's 5-7 days.

Important to note however that even for long games with all day phases, you can come and go as you please, post however much you want, even if it's just a few times a day (although it's expected you at least try and post some content)
