Don't play those middling cards in PLO8 etc. Even Sammy Farha wrote to avoid playing those hands "at all costs". If even Farha says that, I'm listening.

Ah, damn, I got confused. What happend to me was I was thinking it's Hi/Lo, but it wasn't. I don't really like PLO tourneys. PLO8 and NLO8 works much better as a tournament game imo, although I can't really tell you why.
