So a little update

i turned a big losing week into a minor profit by playing hours of baccarat
i tried to turn a profit and ended up dropping back down a 100

placed some big bets and they hit and i was up like a 1000 so of course i decide to freeroll my winnings into more winnings like a typical degen

i bet on the afternoon games and night games
well things go all bad and the whole day ends up close to a push luckily.. coulda been worse and i end up only being up a few hundred


i decided to go to the casino but i have to pass the pits to get to the poker section
i bring a few thousand and decide to play a hand of baccarat win a few hundred on one hand and decide to sit down welp, somehow i start bleeding and before you know it im stuck a few hundred i end up trying to chase and dig myself deeper into the hole and the money i bought for poker is now gone......

i go home on tilt and remember the ronda rousey fight is coming up soon
its a for sure win in my head and i look at the odds -1400

im thinking ok ill put 14k on the line to win an easy 1k

as im thinking about it i look at the other games that day and two games just stick out to me the dodgers and the mets game something is just telling me to parlay it as all 3 will for sure hit i do the degen math in my head and realize im getting 2-1 on my money for parlaying those 3 and decides that is super +EV

so instead of putting 14k on just ronda i decide to put 10k on the parlay to win 20k
(the most i usually bet is a 1000 or normally just a few hundred a game so this was a pretty big gutshot i guess for me)

as i put the wager on my book says it has to be manually reviewed as it is overlimit
this snaps some nit into me and im thinking ok maybe its a sign im being drastic and im just on monkey tilt i should just put a 1000 on it

and what do you know it got snap accepted (now in my head im thinking crap the book probably thinks im a ****** to accept this bet they usually limit all my big confident bets )

there was no negotiation they just snap accepted it and i bet on 3 favorites so now i didnt feel too good as they must know something i dont

oh well im in too deep


i decide to just go with the flow and relax

i turn on the dodgers game and start getting nervous nobody scored
im feeling uneasy i go to the bathroom and i come back to see the dodgers up 3-0 BINGO! baby things are looking good

the dodgers wrap it up with a win and now i just gotta wait on the mets and ronda feeling pretty at that time


i turn on the mets game (i had a side bet which was only for a few hundred that no runs would be scored in the first inning so imagine my shock/horror)

when i see the nationals up 2-0 in the first inning

i start going on monkey tilt and raging hard at myself going into a depressed/angry state

keep cursing at myself saying i shoulda just bet on the dodgers/ronda

also it didnt help that my friends were needling me and lolin at me thinking the mets would win


normally 2-0 lead wouldnt worry me but its the dam mets the lowest scoring team in the league...

being up 2-0 against them might as well be like being up 20-0


after a few innings pass by i keep thinking about wilmer flores crying and hitting the game winner homer for some reason and i start getting some faith

the mets end up scoring and im feeling a little better

watching this game is giving me such a sweat and anxiety....

the mets score again and the game is tied

watching sports when i have $$ on it is hard for me too much stress

i decide to turn off the game and start playing video games and play a little bit and check the score after my gaming session when i know the game will be over...

well here it goes go on google and what do you know mets won by 1 point

im jumping for joy and celebrating like my parlay hit cause im 100% ronda would win and thats a wrap


as i sat debating whether to put my whole roll on the ronda fight
something hit my gut it might of been the tacos i had for lunch or my 6th sense


but it hit me things are going way too good to be true
the mets shouldnt of won the degen gods are ganna final destination me and get me back by giving me an upset loss on ronda

(i like a lot of parlays and ive had numerous parlays where i hit the longshots/underdogs and all i got left is the huge favorite to win and somehow they blow it and i miss my jackpot victory)

i can just feel it i wasnt supposed to win so i hold back on the ronda fight

and turn on a ufc 190 stream

and start sitting patiently waiting for the ronda fight
i would normally bet on the other undercard fights but i guess my degen/action junkie cravings were satisfied by my big bet on these 3 events


after a while i realize my stream is delayed and on the shogun fight i decide i cant take it anymore i need to know if i won or lost

i google in ronda hoping to get a live update/result


and then i saw the recent tweets coming up all praising ronda calling her the champion a beast etc

based on those tweets i can tell ronda won the fight and rekt the brasiliian
and yup i see a gif of her KOing her


i couldnt believe my eyes

one of the worst weeks for me somehow turned into an amazing end
i felt like mark wahlberg in the gambler with his FU money


now the only challenge for me is to get my winnings out without losing it chasing a bigger profit lol

speaking of which i put another big bet (not as big as my earlier one but a good chunk of my earlier winnings)
on dodgers/mets moneyline tonight

Live action update

Checked into hotel room and girlfriend wanted to take a shower
I was ecstatic as I could then sneak off to gamble

Told her I was going downstairs for 20 mins. Pulled up a chair at !25 min BJ. Very elderly dealer and that should have been my cue not to sit. I never win at tables with old dealers. Proceeded to get ran over and lost about $800. Left that table.

Teetering on busto went and sat at single deck BJ. Nice asian dealer. They seem to be better to me. Proceeded to go on heater after buying in for $200 betting between 25-125. Cashed out $1325. Not bad after about 20 mins. Lost a few hands in a row and walked. Girlfriend is now texting where I am blah blah blah time to go back upto the room. Was going to not chip up and take all my green $25s off table and walk into room and make it rain on her but she's a bit of a germaphobe so I declined

Went back to room and she is alarmist ready and show her the chips. Tell her it was a BJ heater, she is confused but is happy.

Purposely brought the chips up so I would have to go back down to cashier to exchange. Gives me another 15-30 mins of gambling. Off I go again downstairs and cash em in go to sportsbook. Put a little action on the mets.

Walk by a slot machine with the usual 7s on the reel it was a $1 machine but this one had some pink 7s. For some reason it caught my attention. Put $20 in it and was down to $2 when I hit three pink 7s and one was a double. Cash that bitch out for $160.

We all have the choice to abstain from gambling. Let's not confuse ourselves to think that problem gambling is similar in dependent nature as say alcohol or drug addictions, where the body requires these substances to maintain. I'm a gambling addict who has experienced some of the most absurd swings first hand, but at the end of the day, I made the choice to place a bet. No one forced you to go to the casino or put a gun to your head and made you enter your account log in for your online casino. Sure without gambling everything else seems boring and mundane, at least initially, but this is a reality we have to accept if we truly want to achieve mental wellness. I know the grip of the addiction can be brutal, but lets be clear, we are making the choice to put ourselves through the agonizing pain of winning or losing.

I have to disagree with u there... Gambling addicts who are not in action are physically and mentally not all there. They may not show it like drugs or alcohol but being deprived from anything your mind is addicted to will have an impact on your physically and especially mentally... Lack of sleep, concentration, etcetc

I had K J 10 flush, other guy had K J 9 flush and this fat ******* hit an ace high flush on the river. Went on immediate tilt in the pits betting 500 a hand but ended up 200 after an hour and the tilt wore off. Played some mixed, ended up only 9 big bets for the trip. But that's 3600 when the big bet is 400. And the degen in me wants to go back to bj and chase that 10k pot that should have been mine. ****ing ace on the river.

was down $800 playing $1 slots at the casino. Was on massive tilt so took my last $200 to multi play slot. Max bet was $18. Third spin I hit two diamonds and a 7 on one of the reels. Won $900.

There is a drink max of two drinks per hour. I was going around to different waitresses and different bars inside so I was getting about 6 drinks an hour. I was loaded.
