The only reason lebron has made it to so many finals(which is you guys best argument btw) is because the east has been so weak for so long.

Kobe over Leborn not that laughable. People forget how good Kobe was in his prime because they see his last few years when he was injured and old. Kobe was a takeover player who came the closest to impersonating Jordan. They didn't call him the Black mamba for nothing!

Offensively i take Kobe easily over Lebron. Kobe an assassin on the offensive side.

I remember watching Kobe take it to the hole relentlessly against San Antonio when David Robinson and Tim Duncan were protecting the rim.

Kobe was fearless He also had epic battles with San Antonio in the western conference finals year after year. If it weren't for the west being so tough Kobe would have been to the finals as many times as lebron.
He has 5 rings btw.
The WCFinals were essentially the finals there for a few years.

I was probably over the top when I said Kobe was one of the WOAT in the clutch. But he is definitely the most overrated.

If Kobe is overrated then so is lebron. They are definitely in the same discussion.

Being that Kobe has never been eliminated in the WCF other than in his 2nd season, you aren't making a very good argument.

Also in that season he did get eliminated in the WCF, it was against Utah, who got beaten by the Bulls, so it's pretty hard to argue that they would have made the Finals in the East.

You'll also probably remember in that series Kobe averaged 10ppg @ 33%.

Kobe also had Shaq for 4 of those final runs, you may have heard of him.

In regards to clutch that's pretty lol.

Kobe is ranked just behind MJ when you ask the casual fan about clutch players.

But he's a looooooooooooooooooong way behind MJ and is actually no better than a league average player.

And being that not many people rank LeBron as clutch (I mean look at you), he's not that bad. He sucks in the regular season, but is very very solid come the post season.

Wtf? Kobe was deadly clutch! Kobe over Lebron and most in the clutch. Only problem Kobe had was he always wanted to take the last shot ala Jordan so the other team be all over him and he'd still force it. Still made them most of the time. Kobe also had alot less help the Lebron gets after Shaq left. Kobe didn't get hired star guns like Lebron gets every year. Kobe got Pau and that was enough to win it all!

Also Kobe had tough west teams to contend with while Lebron in LOL east so Lebron get to the finals with a buy/no competition every year. Whenever he has to play a really good team which is the finals he usually can't beat them. Nothing against lebron he a good player but it such a joke how they make it look like he goat just because he gets to finals every year. If he in the west he might never make a finals.

Between 2006 and 2016 Kobe shot 27.1% in the last 5 seconds of a game for game winners or for the tie.
