I bet if Qater air conditioned the outdoor stadiums like they promised he would still be alive.

Yes. If it means a new (and hopefully better) coach, then I’m fine with it. Otherwise, I don’t get it.

Is this a chicken or the egg situation where we are left wondering if gio was benched first or Claudio revealed Gregg’s past first?

Claudio could have done his thing because his son was benched or maybe gio was benched because of Claudio’s thing.

This’ll get uglier in the coming weeks and I highly doubt that Berhalter will come out of this in any decent shape. Whatever happens and goes on between him and his wife is between them, but mostly importantly for the US team, he really didn’t handle the Gio Reyna situation close to well. This is fast looking like a Sampson-esque mess

because whatever happened in the camp and training should've stayed there and he shouldn't have basically called out Gio without naming him a few weeks back. I'm just going off of what we know, not whatever you want to makeup that you think I know

In any sane world, yes. But we don't live in one.

surprised ppl can't clearly see this

a lesser personality would've lost his squad and failed to get out of the group. it was an especially delicate situation too, considering the player's father

would David Moyes be a manager the USSF would consider if they move on from GGG?

how would USMNT fans itt feel about a Moyes appointment?

God no. Having born witness to his management at United and seeing the wheels fall off at West Ham, hiring him is just asking for the US to get bounced in the group stage (depending on what FIFA do with them).

Personally, if the US is to go that route, I’d much rather then bring in Mourinho who’s style should work well internationally and can really form a cohesive squad. The job he’s done with Roma makes me think he could do well for the US.

Mostly though, I want Marsch to keep coaching in Europe and see some success before considering the US job.

Marsch's style does not fit a NT. It's so weird when US fans post his name like a buzzword. "Look a me I know a bang average at best manager in Europe!"

He’s the best manager that is American (which says a lot more about the pool of US managers than anything else). That’s why he gets mentioned.
