Maybe but I thought they were excluding European players from that due to timing? And complaints were waged at announcements of WC qualifying window roster as a result of me challenging them with “ok take these MLS players out, who are their replacements?”

Plus the anti MLS crowd is on record saying they don’t give a damn about Gold Cup and that we won it. I love sitting in my ivory tower mocking them completely unfettered lol

Edit to Add: and we won the Gold Cup so hard to argue roster, in fact it’s impossible since most considered us to be an underdog to team Mexico brought

Morocco aren't a top 4 team. They should have just hired a coach to get them out of the group and called the tournament a positive and success.

Itt only top 8 teams have any business going to quarterfinals/semifinals

This is irrelevant. Our World Cup was a success and that is thanks to our wonderful manager, even though he basically lied about Reyna's fitness

LFC, even people (like me) who mostly agree with you are tired of your seemingly endless anti-GGG rants. We all know how you feel. No one cares. Please stop being a being a narcissistic *******.

ScotchOnTheRocks, same applies to you.

Not sure what this is supposed to mean. Morocco fields a team that is clearly more talented and better coached than the US and probably some of the supposedly better sides they've eliminated goallessly (I have in mind Spain). Merely having a guy who plays for PSG means they field more talent than the US. It's sad to say this, but it's the reality. With it's current talent level, the US ought to be trying to play something like Morocco does - and to some extent it could because the US does have the athleticism - but does the US have a single player as good on the ball as Boufal? Or as dangerous as Ziyech? Or as much of a boss as Amrabat has been?

Umm what applies to me?

After three years of endless Neanderthal rants from LFC I just couldn’t take it anymore and its quite clear no one else could either.

I placed him on ignore and I’m not posting anymore. I recommend everyone else do the same

this thread is bad now

reddit and bigsoccer are just better places to discuss, and trolls are dealt with

Just debunking idiotic arguments and defenses of GGG as they happen in real time. I realize more people agree with me than Scotch and ligastar it's just so hard not to point out their idiocy. The show me an article troll post after post really took the cake

Gio was acting up. He's got a lot of maturing to do.

I would bet Gio got mad about Morris and made some type of snide MLS comments. And the fact that he constantly said he was 100%, basically he thinks he's better than everyone and doesn't matter if he's not fully fit. Bad look for young Gio. Usually I would defend the player here but GGG has no reason to lie since he's basically out of the job in a week anyway.

**** Gio for this ****. Comes in like he owns the place even though he's basically done nothing besides pass to Haaland a few times for some tap ins. I would be fine with not calling him up next year, and after seeing how this was handled, keeping Gregg.

this kid sucks lol
“The sources, who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the matter, said that Reyna showed an alarming lack of effort in training ahead of the U.S.’s opening match of the tournament against Wales on Nov. 21, including in a scrimmage against Qatari club Al Gharafa SC on Nov. 17. Reyna’s lack of intensity in the scrimmage — sources described him walking around throughout his time on the field during what was otherwise an intense session — caused significant frustration within the team. The lack of effort was so pronounced that it was unclear whether Reyna was protecting against an injury or just frustrated that he was not set to be a starter against Wales.”

“The drama surrounding Reyna crescendoed during the Wales game, when Reyna threw his shin guards after not being subbed in, and then into a post-Wales training session in which Reyna’s lack of effort continued again. It prompted several veteran players to speak with Reyna, including DeAndre Yedlin and Aaron Long, who pulled him aside and urged him to show more effort moving forward.”

Agreed, he had a tough job with some of the talented young guys who, in the opinion of some here, should have been given free reign to do whatever they want

He held the line with Weston and that certainly appears to be beneficial. We will see what happens with Gio

GGG did a great job protecting Gio and saying he's injured instead of saying he's half-assing practice like a bitch boy and then threw his shin guards after he didn't get in a game

Give him a contract.
