Denver typically gets a bunch of YAC yards after the catch. Those passes were still completed-they just went nowhere. That's not Denver sucking - that's Seattle being great.

Denver had issues on D - but that wasn't playing bad, that was being hurt and old and having a bad secondary. (They played fine against the run).

Didn't read anything after the end of the game, so I'm sorry if this has been covered.

It seems to me that you can either say that Peyton choked, OR that Seattle has an elite D and was the cause of all the Bronco issues. Don't see how you can say both.

Am I wrong?

if they replay the game I think SEA is favored, maybe by 4 points. that's about the most new information from one game can be worth (SEA went off +1.5)

SEA won last night by 35. when you win by 30 points over and above what could be expected if both teams play as expected / nothing weird happens, it means...weird stuff happened. SEA played great but also DEN played horrible. the first Peyton INT was on him 100%, the safety was on him, and then when you get behind the whole situation snowballs.

so yeah give SEA credit they are better and played 100x better last night. but there is no way if they play again DEN only scores 8 points. or gives up 43

Why can't it be both?

Both is basically the only way the Broncos get curb stomped as badly as they did.

you realize how stupid this argument is... st louis almost beat us too, indy did beat us...

the point is SF matches up very well against Seattle, that does not mean they would have against denver

SF's secondary is not their strength and it would have been exposed by peyton, the people coming in here claiming that since SF almost beat Seattle (oh if not for like 4 lol comedy of errors by seattles offense that game would not have been close) SF would have beat denver by the same amount are delusional

the game was a blowout because seattle's D is complete dominant against non-physical pass heavy O's.

Denver would have been able to move the ball, considering SF would not have been able to run against denver except for a few Kaep runs that leaves the game on the arm of one Colin T (for turnover) Kaepernick... i'll take denver for 1200 alex...

also im not trolling, SF is obviously a great team, but they are flawed in more ways than Seattle and people just spouting off like idiots that they would have automatically produced the same result are completely delusional

It's not just that we almost beat you it's that the teams are so similar. Black quarterback and a dominant defense. Unless you think there is some reason Peyton wouldn't have choked against the 9ers there is basically no credible argument that the 9ers don't get a similar result. Maybe 35-11 or something instead of 43-8.

clearly the colour of russel wilson's skin is what led the hawks to that victory...

Anybody who doesn't acknowledge a difference in how black and white quarterbacks play the quarterback position is delusional and a huge life nit.
