Watching those NFL games and threads yesterday was very instructive. I think a lot of people are really, really, really, really, really biased in favor of their team (if there were a facemask penalty, for instance, I feel it would be unsurprising for someone to argue that the runner had actually shoved his facemask into the defender's hand and then stimulated his nerves to force the grasp and the penalty). Also, it sure seems like every player is injured and/or coming off suspension.

Combining these two elements, the threads wind up reverting to a sort of intervention, but only so far...
