The answer is to eat things that eat grass and algae because they can convert it. Flax is nearly entirely worthless for n-3 benefits no matter the form.
Are n-3 precursors even effective? I was curious and looked some stuff up, came across these: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22968891

Overall, omega-3 PUFA supplementation was not associated with a lower risk of all-cause mortality, cardiac death, sudden death, myocardial infarction, or stroke based on relative and absolute measures of association.

ω-3 FA may protect against vascular disease, but the evidence is not clear-cut, and any benefits are almost certainly not as great as previously believed.
I don't know what its effects are on other physiological functions tho

Correct. Omega 3 in general is not worthwhile in humans. You need DHA and to a lesser degree EPA.

DHA is very important in the anti inflammatory response.

Edit: basically the point of consuming n-3 acid is to get to DHA. But humans can't convert it very well.

Thanks, Chim.

BTW, you've probably mentioned it before and I haven't caught it, where are you studying this and to what purpose? Trusted sources?

Thanks again.

This is why X=X is important. You don't get those 40 years of uncertainty if you're comparing to 50 years of one title. The 40 years are 40 more years of making the playoffs every year and winning 0 titles.
in that case my X=7.

Creatine. Then if you have enough protein in diet just have some leucine post work out with a little bit of carb. Muscle fatigue and work initiates transcription of DNA for muscle growth. BCAA (specifically Leucine) stimulates the actual translation of the DNA for protein synthesis. And the carb lets it all happen. It's why chocolate milk actually works pretty well.

But really for supplements just creatine.

Chim; I've also heard anti-oxidants have recently switched from 'Yay' to 'Nay'. Is this

A) Too new to be in classes & books
B) As you are being taught
C) Already obsolete
D) just a figment of my imagination

Lemme respond to this tomorrow. It'll take quite a bit more typing than I want to do on iPad.
