The same people that refused to do the work took the AP tests and, more or less, made 4s or 5s across the board in every class the school offered (highest percentage of 4s and 5s in the state). It was basically all done for the thrill of seeing how much we could get away with (hence the immature part I cited) rather than to avoid learning.
man i wrote the above post before i even read this. so lol at doing all the studying and work to learn and then refusing to demonstrate it. i mean, the hard part is over. may as well just take the test or bang out the paper so you can have good grades to show colleges and play sports.

but, i guess it turned out fine for you so nbd.

This. Less math and golf team and more banging freshmen.

agree. Better than soph and junior year of college, but worse than freshman and senior year imo. Also, far better than any year up to that point.

If your senior year of high school is better than any year of college, you're really ****ing up college.

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog & Reading is FUNdamental

you can have a lot of elite years of life. ****ed up college hard though, reasonably likely i'll go to the grave with that being my biggest regret. Most of senior year of HS was also tinged with the afterglow of an undefeated/national top 10/RANG soccer season, breaking a three-year championship drought & ushering in an unprecedented era of Kentucky HS soccer dominance. Standard error is 4.2%, so 0's in the 95% confidence interval. CDL's just waiting for the trend to reach statistical significance; could just be variance so far! Wouldn't want to throw away a potential friend due to insufficient sample size.

My personal GOAT years are spread out pretty well, but man, I really feel sorry for anyone who says high school years were the best years of their life. Those people must've really failed at life thereafter.

papers sucked and my family didn't have much money at times so I had some parts of HS where I didn't have reliable access to internet or computer access at home. I tried to avoid papers like the plague so that I didn't have to use the library to write them or ask friends to come to their houses because I was really embarrassed of my situation (and now feel terrible about this because I know my mom saw that I was embarrassed and worked multiple jobs doing what she could). For me, the test thing was just seeing how far we could push teachers before they wouldn't give any more. some people wouldn't have been ready had they been tested and a lot of those people were my friends so I was willing to do my part in protesting the tests to keep them from having to do work.

its still tbd if it turned out ok, but I dont think the teachers at my school were good enough to offer me much beyond what the textbooks could so ****ing around in class and building friendships (even if the basis for them stemmed from immature bonds established as 15 year olds) isn't something I regret.
