kevin, I agree that SE should try to promote a stop-snitching policy. I'd wager that it was AcShUnJaX who reported it, since he immediately quoted it and has had an axe to grind with me since the NLCS thread (where he probably reported more of my posts).

I think it's something along the lines of if you say you're going to stop posting and then you keep posting, you get banned

i never said i quit the forum. I probably should have never used retired since you believe it means quit forever, or maybe shouldnt have written anything in case things in my life change. I should have used the term break because thats what i wanted. so to answer blue celery its a farve retirement, but i dont have the time to post as much as in the summer.

I said my goal is to use my time better in the future so ive posted a LOT less and gotten a lot done, and will continue to try to b the most productive person i can. if that means posting less than so be it. ill most likely sink into a low volume role and not be on 2p2 much in general.

I think his point has less to do with how much you post on an internet forum and more to do with actually making a post on a forum announcing your retirement from said forum.

it was a joke because in my mind since i knew i wasnt going to post much and kind of exagerated by saying retire, i suppose its sort of a lame joke to see what people would say. anyways, its not a big deal, the last few weeks ive been pretty busy and havent been here as much and nothing is going to change for a while (at least until christmas break).

lol i guess your first point is valid. theres nothing wrong with someone leaving on there own terms (you act like i lost an se survivor, in which everything you say makes sense) and then having a change of heart. nothing about that is against any rules. So in essense some people are getting sensitive for pretty much no reason. Like I said it doesnt even matter, like i have been doing in the last few weeks, i wont even be posting that much.
