I haven't seen the post but gameday threads aren't free game to just attack people.

Heh, that was a pretty funny post imo but anytime you mention a politician you're gonna risk people getting butt hurt.

kevin, I agree that SE should try to promote a stop-snitching policy. I'd wager that it was AcShUnJaX who reported it, since he immediately quoted it and has had an axe to grind with me since the NLCS thread (where he probably reported more of my posts).

AC-C, thanks for being one of the few people to get it.

tup, word. I was already committed to it, though.

ActionJacson,

It's been all of like 3-4 days since you voluntarily quit the forum. Now, not only are you already back but you're picking fights with two of its best posters.

Maybe the [censored] rule should be dusted off and invoked.

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought of when he announced his "retirement"

I think it's something along the lines of if you say you're going to stop posting and then you keep posting, you get banned

i never said i quit the forum. I probably should have never used retired since you believe it means quit forever, or maybe shouldnt have written anything in case things in my life change. I should have used the term break because thats what i wanted. so to answer blue celery its a farve retirement, but i dont have the time to post as much as in the summer.

I said my goal is to use my time better in the future so ive posted a LOT less and gotten a lot done, and will continue to try to b the most productive person i can. if that means posting less than so be it. ill most likely sink into a low volume role and not be on 2p2 much in general.

rofl @ the way you interpreted the bolded, i mean seriously??? haha if you really think that then wow, but not all of us are all stars.

You know you're life is pretty f'd when you are "retiring" from posting on a forum.

haha, pretty sure its the opposite, if you desire to post on an internet forum all the time for the rest of your life then your life is f'd imo.

I think his point has less to do with how much you post on an internet forum and more to do with actually making a post on a forum announcing your retirement from said forum.

Ya know, instead of just not posting anymore (or posting less) and being more productive IRL and stuff.

re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, Foodblog, and Forum Discussion

it was a joke because in my mind since i knew i wasnt going to post much and kind of exagerated by saying retire, i suppose its sort of a lame joke to see what people would say. anyways, its not a big deal, the last few weeks ive been pretty busy and havent been here as much and nothing is going to change for a while (at least until christmas break).

Now you say you were just attention whoring and didn't mean it. Waste of time.

You tendered your resignation, it was accepted. You can still report posts though.

All I know is that at some point- when you made a 2p2 account, the though "Hey it would be awesome if my screen name had alternating caps in it" either crossed your mind, or it didn't.

If it didn't, stay winning.

If I did, you probably will one day need a hug and a user manual.

i got a question about running a fake fg. how come when the holder's knee is down, the ball isn't downed? in ncaa fb, obviously. I get having a waiver for when he actually holds for the kick, but what if there's a handoff or a toss out of the kneed position? I saw that twice this weekend and was like WTF.

in the oregon game and somewhere else

lol i guess your first point is valid. theres nothing wrong with someone leaving on there own terms (you act like i lost an se survivor, in which everything you say makes sense) and then having a change of heart. nothing about that is against any rules. So in essense some people are getting sensitive for pretty much no reason. Like I said it doesnt even matter, like i have been doing in the last few weeks, i wont even be posting that much.

That's the one draft I'm perfectly comfortable saying I dominated. Barkley + Daly is still the GOAT

He's not talking about the athlete reality show that already happened. He's talking about the upcoming SE poster reality show draft.
