wiper has it crossed your mind that someone in the business of selling explosives might attract attention from law enforcement?

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog and Forum Discussion

well...yeah. so?

he used to have tons of quarters/halves/fulls, then he did get some heat from ATF a couple summers ago. now he just kinda gets however many people order.

they're pretty common around here during the 4th. i used to have like 4 or 5 people who i could call, mostly older people working at GM. ha

i'm not really worried about it.

Last edited by wiper; 07-03-2012 at 11:58 PM. Reason: heat=having like 100 quartersticks taken by the ATF after getting pulled over.

he's a pretty good friend of mine. i have several pretty good friends that could "attract attention from law enforcement", kinda goes with growing up here i guess.

suppose i don't look at it the same way you (or others) might.

I have no idea what this Tarmoh chick is going on about in this interview I just saw on ESPN but I'm glad she gave up her spot to Allyson Felix because she is super hot (imo).

Purple and Blue Razz is ass imo, though I'd crush either in my hayday. Watermelon, Orange, and Fruit Punch are vastly superior.

I rarely drink anymore as I've tried to become healthier and shed pounds, that and constantly traveling interviewing at colleges as cut down on my drinking. I'll have a Landshark tomorrow for ya though.

Basically filled up a 2-liter bottle with artillery shell insides and gunpowder, sealed it up with glue and duct tape, stuck a 6 foot fuse on it, kaboom. Typical 4th of july shennanigans The first one was the most hilarious because we lit it in the middle of an intersection and a car drove up right before it blew up.

(Also the 3rd one didn't go off right away. "Who wants to go poke it with a stick" lolol)
Holy freaking ****, so you guiz were close to blowing up the guy in the car?

campbell, ohio (ghetto of youngstown) descendant, when he doesn't shave he looks like a 9/10 version of kimbo slice.

i have a pic of him w/me that i can't post obv. he's shaved since, but at one point this cat looked like literally 100% kimbo. we called him kimbo for a while.

Fireworks totally banned here this year since the entire state is burning down and like 600-700 homes are gone. $5k fine for anything at all.

Gonna be a weird 4th.

"HD Vision" glasses commercials tilt the **** out of me. Do people actually buy these thinking their life will be in HD? Do they have any idea what HD actually is? Are they aware their life is currently in HD? lol

On another note, happy 4th. May wiper live through the day.

I was curious enough to look these up and yes, it does look like they are targeted at the elderly who probably have no idea what HD is.

Advertising and marketing as a whole just baffles me, I really don't get how commercials can consistently treat people like utter morons and yet still be effective. I'm either overestimating advertising's effectiveness or giving people too much credit. Edit: This post probably makes me sound like an elitist jackass, but whatevs.
