The Trump Administration is also committed to clean coal technology, and to reviving America’s coal industry

WTF does this even mean? How is this even possible? We gonna make coal cleaner by using more of it? Or we gonna hire more people to clean coal before we use it?

The sad part is there are thousands of people that will go on the website, read this, and think their job is coming back first thing on Monday.

At least the Clintons showed up!

Yep, these people are ******s. I'm surprised they were able to scrounge up enough $ to get flights out there from Seattle and Portland. It must have been an epic recyclable can collection.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Ivanka is hot? I don't get this endless fawning over her looks. Malia Obama > Ivanka IMO.

If that's why people voted for Trump, it's a stupid reason. With the Trump Admin already taking **** off the website in regards to rights, equality for all, and climate change, we all get hurt by this. Having a temper tantrum because your "Fed up" is the dumbest thing I can imagine; especially when millions of lives are at stake.

I don't think she's hot because every time I see her, I think how her father wants to **** her. Kinda a turn off.

My rough understanding is, instead of a smokestack pumping CO2 into the atmosphere, clean coal plants have a long tube tunneling far underground spraying the Co2 out there. Seriously.

This is more surreal than I thought it would be, watching Trump walk down the street, waving, newly inaugurated as POTUS. Probably going to throw up a little bit. Not a big one, but not "throw up a little in my mouth" tiny either.

One might argue the DNC colluding to pit Clinton vs Trump to be dumber, though to be fair it doesn't really affect them very much.

I agree with that. I'm just saying that if your house is on fire, the solution isn't to throw gasoline on it because your pissed the fire department isn't there yet.

I get the anger vs the government and the ESTABLISHMENT but this isn't the best way to deal with it.

My favorite thing about the mentality of 'I'm going to vote trump for no other reason than ANTI ESTABLISHMENT' is you've given the republican establishment total control and free reign to do what they want unopposed indefinitely no matter how destructive and what the consequences are

Does it then turn into oil? cause that would be sweet

But anyway we've been over this.ikes and it's not just that coal is horribly polluty (it is), it's that plus there are cleaner and more efficient and cheaper sources of energy that don't require a certain # of people to die each year extracting. Coal jerbs aren't coming back, period. There's literally nothing Trump can do to make that a reality, except to ban fracking, which we know he won't do. It's far better to piss off Joe the Coalminer than Joseph the Fracking Energy Magnate.

I also get the anger vs the government and the ESTABLISHMENT, but I don't really get the whole elitist city dwellers condescendingly saying you have to support Clinton or you're ******ed shtick.

Spoiler:
Bernie would have won

afaiac, your theories are as valid as any, regardless of how idiotic they may seem. I don't expect a rational answer to an insane occurrence, but I'm admittedly weak at evaluating irrational answers.

Anywho, on a subject you may actually have an interesting perspective on; do you think Trump's anti-Mexico stance will be a net negative or positive from a "proliferation of violent cartels" standpoint?
