Stock market down for 6th day in a row with another 2% today so far. European markets got whacked for another 3%, too. A worldwide recession is inevitable at this point even if the virus magically clears up tomorrow. Travel restrictions, productivity losses, supply chain issues, and a decline in discretionary spending are going to linger for months in the best case.

Things will be okay here in the USA though. Our system of no paid sick days and people living paycheck to paycheck will ensure things keep motoring right along with everyone showing up to work even if they're sick because they can't afford to stay home. That's assuming you can get tested which probably won't happen because the CDC has crazy strict rules on who gets tested and they've performed less than 500 total tests to date.
