So I have a question regarding the mustard gas and cyclosarin picks.

Are they draftable as a stand-alone chemical compound with no limit on their storage or delivery mechanism? Are they delivered to each citizen in a safe container? Are they delivered as a munition of some type? Shouldn't the delivery system have to be selected with the chemical?

I ask because, generally speaking, they are used as a munition. One of them can be an aerosol but that was dispersed by an airplane.

If you're banking on the elevated radiation from Chernobyl to increase your cancer rate by 100% compared to a normal country, I think you've already conceded defeat in this draft. Immediate death is the aim here, not a bunch of 60 year olds with prostate cancer.

I think my team is one of the worst assembled. Funny since I've had this idea for like 3+ years. I'm definitely not banking on cancer but it's pretty funny that their farmland is still loaded with radiation.

I got a landlocked cold country that irl nobody wants to live in. And I wanted something big enough that my Bagger 293 wasn't overtaking the entire land, but not so big (like UNRAFTED COLD COUNTRY) that the vehicles were not also an eyesight pollutant if you will. There are a bunch of cold countries but most of them have access to all kinds of salmon.

Mostly, I have no idea what I want to draft in any of the rest of my categories so I just went ahead and picked my land and got it out of the way.

I think the category I'm most excited about is the musician/song category. We're already starting to get a picture of what a lot of these places look like - once we add ambient music to the landscape it will just reach a whole new level of epicness.

Someone else PMed me this question. I told him if you select a chemical weapon, you get whatever mechanism is required to distribute it in the manner in which it was historically used to cause mass harm.

So whoever chose mustard gas gets whatever mechanism you need to use mustard gas in the way we all want to use it. But the mechanism is only used for that purpose. If the mechanism could otherwise be used as a weapon, it will not be possible in this draft. The mechanism-as-weapon will only be manifest in the ONE way you are choosing it to be. Which is to distribute the gas.

As far as storage... the country has unlimited mustard gas. Just imagine it's somewhere safe and a citizen can go procure it at any time for free. It will be handed to them in a completely safe manner (ie a jar or what have you). The citizen then fills their weapon with the gas then uses the weapon to distribute the gas.

There is not to be any "accidental" poisoning. No leaks or whatever will occur at the outlet. The only time the gas will become harmful is when a citizen explicitly intends it to be so.

Basically what I'm going for here is that the citizens have to make the mental decision to cause harm.

If you choose an aerosol that is only distributed via airplane then the weapon is effectively "airplane+aerosol". However, the airplane is ONLY used to distribute aerosol. Not to travel from one point to another or to be used as a giant missile a la the twin towers terror attack. In other words, beyond distributing the aerosol...the airplane is ENTIRELY useless. However, everyone in your country somehow knows how to operate the plane and dump the aerosol.

Hope this helps. You get the weapon's intent (the gases intent) without ANY additional benefit of the distribution mechanism.

So in terms of the airplane, you could consider it like the planes that drop stuff when you play Worms: Armageddon. Each person has a walkie talkie where they call the plane and control where to make the drop.

Vlad is a great pick. Was my #1 leader choice early on.

I feel bad for Vlad, all he can do is blow people up. Not a fan of the synergy between him and a society with non stabbing weapons

Loved the vatican pick for sure and taipan island is also really legit. Most of the vehicle picks are just total spew since the uselessness of "vehicle" is only surpassed by the music pick.
