Drones were on my radar. Fortunately for you they are classified as a vehicle, not a weapon, so the only way your citizens can escape a drone attack is by foot.

I'm really looking forward to the music selections. The idea of like a person being attacked and bitten by a rabid wolf with UNDRAFTED SONG playing is just too awesome a thought.

I will count the drone as a weapon and not a vehicle since it is remote-controlled and does not require a driver.

I also just started cracking up thinking about these things flying around.

Could engage in psychological warfare with the drones. Fly them over people's houses unarmed just to make them paranoid.

To clarify, the vehicle you choose is intended to be driven around on the ground. So no planes or helicopters allowed. The DRONES pick works as a weapon since it's not manned internally.

Drones makes up for Guatemala which is actually nice, climate and geography wise, besides the natural disasters (but per the OP it seems the societal structure to start out here is probably better than real life Guatemala, so natural disasters, eh, doesn't make up for the nice climate and loads of fertility)

I was kind of wondering that, too, since mosquitoes are NOT draftable as your land-roaming animal/meat.

From wiki:

"Niger's subtropical climate is mainly very hot and dry, with much desert area. In the extreme south there is a tropical climate on the edges of the Niger River basin. The terrain is predominantly desert plains and sand dunes, with flat to rolling savanna in the south and hills in the north."

I have no idea how many mosquitoes are there naturally. Perhaps in the tropical area around that river there are a lot? I Ctrl+F'd Niger's wiki page for malaria and mosquitoes and got nothing, though.

At the very least - he's taken it off the board for anyone with a country infested with mosquitoes.

Yeah, looks like the only livable areas of Niger are about to become death zones via insect. Even better since most of the world's population doesn't have the anti-malaria gene or whatever it is that leads to sickle-cell anemia.

My one concern is the 3k deaths out of 2.6 million cases. That's just not going to get it done. Does anyone know how deadly the disease is without anti-malarial medication?

For my drink, I'll take 190 proof Everclear (200 proof if possible, but 190 is the strongest I found that's sold)

This is basically battery acid and the bottle says not to drink it by itself, but my people have no choice since there is nothing else to mix it with for a cocktail

The body delays thinking it's drunk with this stuff so you drink too much before you realize it. At that point you are either dealing with alcohol poisoning or throwing hand grenades everywhere

Also, if it spills at all, it's as flammable as gasoline so that adds to it's value
