Nice punch by Murray. He needs to capitalize on those shots. When he has Arthur on the ropes, he backs off after a few punches.

Even so far imo

I can't see Murray getting a decision, particularly after that point deduction (which he deserved). It's a shame, I like the guy and he's a fine fighter.

That point deduction could be the difference in this fight.

I think Abraham is ahead by a round, but that means the judges think he's ahead by 2 or 3. Murray needs a KO.

EDIT: 114-113 Abraham imo. That one point.

Typical Murray really ... never really does enough to win these type of fights.

Done it a few times now and should really have learnt from previous mistakes.

Just not a great fighter tbh ..

Groves would knock out Abraham.

R.I.P. Bob Foster

Can't find an article yet, but heard on the Murray/Abraham telecast. Also read it on Nigel Collins's twitter feed.

Canelo is a solid favorite, about 2.5-1.

I'm not betting it, besides the fun bet with Tigers (Tigers, booked by the way! Forgot to mention that in previous post).

It's definitely worth watching.

If you're going to bet, I'd look at the over/under rounds or winner by decision type bets and look for value there.

I really think it's gonna be a cery close fight for the first half. I don't think Canelo throws enough and is too tentative. I just don't know if cottos chin and fitness are good enough. Plus I think the crowd is likely heavily biased towards Canelo which usually can't help but influence the judges a little bit. I could see cotto throwing a left body shot that ultimately gets him countered brutally. Super excited for the fight tho

Yep fair play to him, didn't think he had 1 punch KO power in his arsenal. Not sure he's even in the top 3 lightweights in Britain though, Campbell and Flanagan would beat him and Mitchell would stand a good chance as well.

Crolla has got his moment in the limelight. Knowing Eddie Hearn he will give him a soft defence first up and then maybe put him in with a legit contender where he will come up short.

Anyone else watching the Cotto v Canelo undercard? A beauty of a tough phone booth scrap is currently happening.

Can someone tell me what time the main event is starting? I'm clearly very bad at the google...

edit: ok, nvm.

While coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET, the fight should probably should start at about 11:45 p.m. ET or later

I don't think any boxer owes the fans anything but you can't bitch and moan when the fans don't care. Rigo bores the **** out of me . Im not a boxing purist I guess. I'll watch him and lomachenko for the technical spectacle and h undoubtedly beat the **** out of donaire but I just don't care

Boxing requires that you actually hit your opponent. Rigo seems almost opposed to doing any damage so far.

If Mayweather had no personality, he'd be just like Rigo. Near identical fighting style.

Rigo has basically done zero damage, but has still landed more and made his opponent look pathetic in the process.

If we never saw rigo again and I have to read a million articles about how no one appreciated him in his time and he got screwed by the sport I would prefer it to watching him fight

Wow! More action in that round than in the entire Rigo fight.
