Assuming you're talking about the derby on saturday, I'll take this bet. I have money on ftp so can send it to you there in the very unlikely scenario that we lose.

what game did you think it was?

****, I also realized this **** is on at 4:45AM, on the saturday immediately following my company Xmas party. Pile on the non FSC factor and its lame ass, gay ass streams for the win that is more like a loss.

I am flying to hawaii tomorrow, I was thinking that I can actually just go to bars and the noontime game could be on at like 1am while bars are still open. i thought it was the united-arse game at OT but i realized it was way too soon for that it and then the everton game commercial came on.

Because he wasn't the player receiving the ball, so that's no longer offside, then when the second phase of play happens (the cross) he is onside.

Them's the rules now mate.

Feels like something as amazing as this has never happened in my lifetime. Gerrard Houllier had a good record against Utd though if i remember right but we done even worse in the League with him in charge.

I think Arsenal will win this, but it wouldn't surprise me if its close. Spurs are playing better, but Arsenal will field their choice starting XI, which should trouble you guys.

Not sure I fully understand the question or am I being dumb?

Personally I would prefer City to win a domestic trophy (it's been *far* too long) over qualifying for the UEFA cup. The UEFA cup is a bit of a damp squib unless your team makes the latter stages. Qualifying for the Champions league would be fantastic but still a long shot for City at the moment. Current home form would have to be maintained plus improving the away form which will require signing 2-3 excellent players in January and hoping they can make an immediate impact.

Well done to Arsenal on their result last night, it's amazing how the youth team can perform so well (I remember City being one of their victims in the Carling cup a couple of years ago).

Naw man, basically if you were going to bounce out of anything, at least its the Carling Cup. Your team should be more rested for the FA cup and the league.

Ah, gotcha. In that case I would've prefered to still be in the CC just to try and end the trophyless streak. I'm over it now though and shall return to calling it the 'worthless cup'

City fan here. Defo agree that this was a big blow for us. A run to the final of the CC would've been a great way for Thaksin to see some immediate success from his investment.

Very happy to see Castillo on the way. I just hope Thaksin and Sven bring in another stiker as well. It's really crazy to see Vassell, Samaras and Mpenza getting so much playing time after all the money that was put into signing players this summer. Making sure none of those guys saw another game should have been priority number one imo. I am a fan of Bianchi and think he has a lot of potential to come good for us, but against Tottenham it really showed how much improvement we need to make up front. Once Tottenham went down to 10 men we were fantastic at passing and keeping the ball in midfield but in making the transition into the box we were hopeless.

Edit: I've just seen we've taken stiker Yasser Al Qahtani on trial. Don't know anything about him but apparently he's Asian Player of the Year. Could be promising, and it's good to see they are obviously still focusing on more stikers.
