Are they having NHL referees for the olympics?

Mix of NHL and international refs. In 2014 they let NHL work the Canada and US games (along with international ones in some cases), so I'd expect the same again

Looking that up quickly I learned two things:

1) Wes McCauley will be there and I'm sure he'll do something with all the spotlight

2) Tim Peel reffed the 2014 gold medal game. Really?

That's more like it. This season is going great. Slav is legit. Fowler showed a lot when called up. Demidov. Kapenen is a solid center...you don't necessarily need a dynamic stud 2c to go far, and this kid has a rocket of a shot, good size, a real keeper regardless of where he ends up line wise.

Hage, 21st pick...kicking ass in ncaa and world jrs. Reinbacher...getting ready. This dude Bryce Pickford....19yr old dman. Might be having the best offensive season in WHL history for a dman. 3rd rounder.

Russian kid Z...2nd rounder 18yrs outscoring what Ivan Demedov did in Russia...all star....these are all steals. Caufied was a previous regime steal. As was Suzuki trade. Hudson mega steal.

Habs scouting and Gorton and Hughes second to none.

I know it's Slaf for most, not all, btw....im more of a Slav guy...point per game since like Dec 1. Moving him to Kapenen and Demidov line...he's showing his full range. Carrying the puck. Driving the play. Marty pullin the right strings.

Monty looking good 2 games since back from Laval.

Also Matthew Shafer is like playing against the CPU...vs a 99 on legend with the sliders turned up. Like wtf the speed, the size, the carving up the ice with the cuts. This is generational.

18 years old. The injury caused him not to get hyped enough. The talent, the eyes, made him number one after 17 games in OHL.

Islanders man got lucky. Blew whatever window they were looking at....and finding this sicko

Habs might legit have the 2 best players from the 2022 draft. In terms of pts over the last 2 months from players from that class:

1. Hutson 29
2. Slaf 24
3. Gauthier 22

Fun fact: Every team in the Pacific has a negative goal differential
Fun fact 2: Pacific division leader in points Vegas has 17 wins and 23 losses

Tbf Vegas hasnt actually conceded more goals than they scored since they're -2 and 1-5 in shootouts, so in gameplay they're up 2

But yeah, terrible division

Hutson def #1 in redraft.

Slaf is sick and I'd take him 2, but guessing he's not consensus #2

Colorado is by far the dominant team in the NHL and with two new Goalies

Penguins and Anaheim seems to be the biggest surprises . I consider Vegas a bit of a disappointment but its early

Any chance Edmonton or Toronto miss the playoffs? 40 Games in will be a good insight into what is going on
Were half way through the season and wow how the mighty have fallen

No team has won the Presidents Trophy and than finished dead last.

Colorado still hot and Detroit wow. Will see if Buffalo can keep up their hot ways
