yeah i can see him having a handshake agreement for an ownership stake at a severely reduced cost upon retirement

but also, at this point in his career, he's gotta be financially secure for life and must be thinking more about his legacy 5 years from now rather than "if i join the Rangers I can probably start getting Campbell's Soup commercials"

Cheapest seats were $98. I got a presale code somehow in my email and figured I'd get tickets just for the experience.

dope that's like a normal ticket price actually, insanely good deal, worst case scenario you can make a decent profit on secondary market the week of but i wouldn't that's a really special thing from everything i've heard about it and you should definitely go

i can't find it, but there's a really good cut out there of corey perry doing the walk of shame to the curb your enthusiam music

I ended up paying about $240 (including fees) to get a slightly better view than the cheapest seats. Might not make much of a difference but we'll see. The play that set it off. Sure looks like the AHLer Pare sticks his knee out there, but Laine prob shouldn't be skating with his head down like that between 2 defenders. Sucks for the guy, I was interested to see if he could make a comeback, but his career's probably effectively over after this. Another top 5 pick for the Habs I guess.

It was a messy game and so far in this pre-season, people are out of place, and lots of running into each other, young players and pre-season and all, but I noticed it already.
