Meh, just an outside showing of his athleticism.

You weren't dumb enough to take it as anything more than that, right?

I don't think it's time to throw Albert out just yet.
I still found it interesting that Albert was drafted as high as he was considering he couldn't even win the LT position in college.

What is it with Alabama players and fat ass pancake man titties?

The report isn't all that surprising considering Al Davis' shenanigans over the past half-decade, but the Raiders just don't have that many players with significant trade value. Feb. 23 - 12:48 pm et

Cole goes on to say that the injuries will be "enough to drop Gerhart out of the first round," but he was never projected that high anyway. It's worth noting that Gerhart tore his ACL in 2007. He was also a 105-game starter on the Stanford baseball team, leaving the 6'1/235-pound outfielder/tailback susceptible to additional wear and tear.

We're surprised La Canfora even ran with this. The Lions can "shop" the No. 2 pick all they want, but very rarely is any team willing to trade into the top five to pay an unproven rookie like an established NFL star. While it's possible that some contender envisions Ndamukong Suh or Gerald McCoy as the "final piece" to a Super Bowl run, the club won't even know who the Rams will take No. 1 for two months. St. Louis is better positioned to trade out. Feb. 23 - 10:01 am et
Interesting stuff.

It's gonna be so awesome for wacky wheelie-dealings when they get rookie salaries under control.

um if his main strength is run blocking then he's probably better suited to play rt or g

He also wasn't that bad at pass blocking. He was really good his rookie year, and was still ok last year blocking for sack-boy Cassel. He had to learn a whole new scheme, and didn't give up a sack the last 6 games.

Lol from two guys who went 4th overall and 8th overall. And also because he was more athletic and more versatile. Those other guys couldn't play guard.

Meh Lions do have some potential for a trade if Clausen drops to #2 and some team thinks he's a franchise QB

Yeah. If the Rams pick Suh, then things could get interesting, as the Seahawks, Bills, Browns, and potentially even Broncos might be interested in leapfrogging the Redskins, although they'd be more likely to try to trade with Tampa Bay, who'll probably be itching to trade down if Suh and McCoy go 1-2. The Seahawks obviously have the draft picks necessary to pull off such a trade.

depends on how much you believe pff i suppose. according to stats inc, which actually works for the nfl, he allowed 9 sacks and had 10 penalties in 14 games. those aren't exactly good numbers.

btw, the expert way to use pff is to pimp their numbers when they agree with you (albert) and ignore them when they disagree (tyson jackson)

If we take Suh No1 then we prob trade for a QB or is there anyone who might fall to them in the 2nd round?

Will someone please clear up for me what the heck just happened on SportsCenter with Brian Westbrook... they were talking to him live and then he mumbled something about Howard Stern and then the connection was lost and it was awkward for a few seconds. I am so confused haha.

It was a prank call from someone pretending to be Westbrook. I wasn't really paying attention but he said something about Howard Stern's prostate. It seemed kinda lame, but Scott Van Pelt's reaction was pretty funny...
