yea why take him at 10-14 when they could get him in the same slot in round 2, maybe 3.

I think it is really interesting when you have a player like Tebow who destroys week in, week out at this level and the reality is that he just isn't going to cut it in the NFL. I completely understand the reasons why that is of course, but I have a lot of sympathy with the people who don't / can't automatically accept that.

He is willing to bet me up to 100 bucks.

Is there even a remote chance Tebow goes top 10?

Thanks.
isnt it common knowledge that like almost every team views him as a FB prospect?

Nothing is common knowledge. Apparently a lot of people believe the likes of McCoy will be a high first round pick. For every draft dedicated website / analyst out there, there is a TV announcer / pundit who says something like "oh gosh, he is going to play some Sunday football for sure" when a player makes a single good play on a Saturday.

Tebow can go anywhere from top 10 to third round. He's a true wildcard. I think it's sensible to think he lands somewhere in the middle of that. But it's impossible to predict.

I think its almost impossible Tebow goes in the top 20. I would say first round but Matt ****ing Jones went in the 1st.

All it takes is one dumb team.

All it takes is the Raidahs.
Though Tebow isn't fast enough for Al.

Its like Dungy said, tebows a winner. top 10 easy. unless none of the top 10 teams want to win superbowls

Snap call that bet, Tebow won't go in the T-10...or shouldn't (I think).

If the Redskins hire Gruden I wonder if they draft Tebow in Round 1 and develop a wildcat style offense around him.

Gruden loves Tebow/the Wildcat, and Snyder loves big names.

Just a thought...

Will take action on this.

49ers will take Tebow. Him and Singletary will harness the awesome power of Jesus and wreck the league

This is the only way I see Tebow going top 10. If you forced me to make a prediction, I say late first/early second for Tebow.

Yea, obviously lots has to happen for this to even be a possibility.

Seems like it makes sense though, judging from what Gruden has said about the Wildcat and Tebow, and also that Campbell is likely dunzo once Zorn is fired.

And if Zorn is let go we can naturally assume Snyder will throw lots of money at some big name. Shanny would probably ask for too much control, so its either Cowher or Gruden.

If all that happens with respect to coaching, it'd probably be a near lock that Tebow would be a Redskin.

has cowher come out and said that he wants another shot at coaching? didnt he just want to be around his kids for a while?

i would guess that it would be shanny/gruden but prob lean more towards gruden because of the price and control shanahan might ask for.

edit: why has nobody interviewed mariucci? i know he had a terrible record for the lions but wasnt that more matt millens fault than his?

I'm locked in for $100 on Tebow getting drafted 11th overall or worse.

I see the Jaguars making a move for him, but they could trade down and still get him in the 20's...

even if he does want to coach again, why the hell would he want to put up with snyder? washington has to be pretty far down the list of attractive coaching jobs and cowher could go pretty much anywhere he wants.

What do you plan to spend your winnings on?
11-02-2009 , 03:48 AM
fwiw I'm not trying to speculate on who is in the running for the WSH job, just listing names of the big time coaches who are theoretically available.

though from what I've heard most speculation points to Gruden.

SUB who are the Lions taking? Theyll have a top 3 pick ldo.
11-02-2009 , 04:10 AM
If they have a Top 3 pick they'll take probably take whoever is available out of Suh or Okung. (This is assuming a QB is taken before they pick)

lol almost nothing is a near lock 5 hours before the draft starts, let alone 5 months
