The committee openly admits to factoring in how a team finishes the season and injury statuses so I don't think it should be a surprise that there is some subjectivity to their decisions and that "resume" isn't the only factor.

i remember watching pruitt when illinois played at maryland the the bigten/acc challenge, dude was ****ing gigantic

hummel crying is totally standard. he came in with the GOAT class with johnson, moore, and scott martin (he's a donk, transfered to ND and blows after he couldn't handle hummel being better than him in college when he was always a little better in hs). they were destined for big things, with hummel they're prob a 1 seed and possibly the best team in the country (or at least a contender). hummel finished his career with those guys while he was injured. he was prob crying for them, pity crying for himself, and crying that things just thinking about what might have been.
