I figured it was a charge on AZ's tying/leading shot, then no call on 2 fouls is pretty sick. GG Wildcats. Blow a 13 point lead then luckbox the win.
yea i didn't know that either. and then the guys in studio are blaming it on him being a freshman. i bet the majority of players on that court didn't know that.
and while this might be a reach...if u have timeouts, i feel like u should be able to say i want to call a timeout before u call 5 seconds on me. otherwise the fate of games is being determined by the hand counting motion of a ref...whereas every other aspect of timing in the game is displayed for the players (10 seconds for half court is just 25 on the shot clock even though the ref is still counting with his hands).
and i am pretty sure texas had a timeout at the end there, right? they had 2, used one (stupidly...and lol at how mad the texas player was the ref took half a second to call it...or was that happiness?) and then tried to use another but it wasn't honored because of the 5 seconds...but i think the stats people thought it was for a few seconds then never put it back...which kinda is a crappy spot to put texas in...cuz they coulda called another once over half court if they wanted...but there was so much fail it's not worth harping too long on any one aspect
