Yeah amazing that a 24-38 team has the 5th best performing 5man. And there's not a single Houston lineup in there.

That was an extremely smart play to avoid committing a charge and instead getting an alley-oop, but it wasn't as impressive as the Manu pass or Lebron dribble because physically it was just a normal dribble and then an unexpected decision.

Smiff was suspended for throwing soup at an assistant coach.

This one-game suspension cost Smith $94,897. That’s one expensive freaking bowl of soup. Not as much as it costs in Little Italy, but still: pretty rich! (Ooh: maybe it was a rich, cream-based soup. A crab bisque, maybe?)

ICWUDT

10.0 pts, 6.7 rebs, 6.0 asts, 2.7 treys, and 3.0 stls since then, in only 25 min/game!

Historically young guards have had a WOAT RPM and effect on a team's performance. That hasn't changed this year, with Frank, Fox, DSJ, Mudiay, Monk and Ferguson being amongst the very bottom of the NBA.

Lonzo though. Positive player.

That's gotta be enough to get him on a graphic with some other GOATs.

And combined with the 67% 3-pt shooting? All of those stats might never have been averaged before over the course of a month-and-a-half! Lonzo GOAT!

I think it's far more impressive bc it wasn't a fluke. Those Bron and Manu plays are closer to bloopers.

I see your point. Sub in 'spectacular' for 'impressive' would be my quibble.

I had misremembered the play to be between the legs. That's why I even brought it up as a comparison in the first place. It's not much physically, you're right.

Detroit starts the game with four straight turnovers.

Orlando hits every shot on the other side. 9-0 Orlando.

Dwight puts his hands on Embiid. Rip thru move, foul.

Next possession: exact same thing.

Not sure who, as a Suns fan, I want to win these two early games.

Philly and Orlando I guess?

Yeah. Wade's move there works like 99% of the time, but the situation comes up almost never, it was an incredible decision and masterpiece of creativity.

The James and Manu plays are in situations that happen all the time, but couldn't be replicated in 100 tries.

It's fun to root for Philly. I mean besides that racist Redick.

Go Sixers.

This RAPS/WIZ game is starting off ugly.

Tim Frazier's faceguard looks straight off the shelf, it doesn't look like it fits him at all.
