So when are we going to start admitting we were premature to lol at GM MJ? Charlotte are flying and as good a chance as anyone to be Cleveland's ECF opponent, and it's because they've got one of the best fitting starting 5s in the comp (ok and Clifford). KEMBA is a legit borderline star after appearing like he wouldn't be for a good while (a sign of a well run organisation, see: Spurs), Zeller is looking like the correct pick in hindsight after being roundly mocked on the day, Batum and Marvin would have two of the best "True : Reputed" output ratios in the league and were very astute pickups and MKG has had injury unluckiness and will probs be a bust for a #2 pick but at least you've got someone to chuck on LeBron and pray.

He's kinda been the anti-Hinkie. 7-61 and miss Brow and they still tried to get better and were in the playoffs within 2 years. Seems to have worked out well IMO. GOAT still the GOAT

All Clifford. Lol gm mj. Drafting Kaminsky alone or not picking up Biyombo's final year scream stupidity.

Embiid is 1.5 years older than STAPS, for anybody who put the Embiid>STAPS clownshoes on

Disappointed I did not bet any clippers preseason at +2800 or whatever. Already moved to +1100 or so. Think they will have a very competitive series with Warriors, could go either way.

The Clippers would obv be pretty massive dogs. Would gladly give 2:1 on a potential Clips/Warriors playoff matchup if you wanna book right now.

I know they will be underdogs to them, I think they will surprise some people. I am obviously not going to take your trash line offer. How many times are you guys going to offer me crap lines when I can obviously get better lines on any sites.

Just stop with that stuff, its embarrassing on a gambling forum. I am obviously posting contrarian projections.

Kaminsky looks bad because we all liked Winslow but it's not like he's been horrible or Winslow a world beater, but yea not great. Biyombo meh, they had Jefferson Zeller and Frank. Could have probably kept him anyway and he'd be an asset sure but these are little rocks. What about signing Marvin Williams to 7 per as an FA, or trading Vonleh and Henderson for Batum. What about hiring Clifford in the first place?

Not at all. They seem like extremely similarly value players going forward. Need a bigger sample this year to be definitive as Towns had the better rookie year, but this year they've been basically equivalent.

Eh, it's a gambling forum, if you make "contrarian" projections some willingness to back them up, even with small bets, is expected imo. If I make an out there claim I'd obv look for the best price but if someone on here offered me odds within the vicinity of the point I made in my post (i.e "the series could go either way, I offer you 2:1) I'd take it.

But alright, I guess if you're willing to admit you're just throwing **** at the wall and waiting until something sticks I'll stop bothering.

Na not really. I think clips will probably be closer to +500 instead of +200 if they play warriors. Just because I think its going to be closer than the public expects, does not mean I am going to lay terrible odds while clippers are at their best and warriors are learning playing together and months before hand.

I take fair no vig price all the time if it comes down to that

Prob the best game Lawson has played in a few years tonight. I know he's done some stupid **** but I loved him at UNC, hope he turns it around.

Wtf
This

Staps > Towns > RUDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY > Brow > Embiid

Speaking of RPM, the first data were released yesterday, 407 players in the list, guess who's got the worst RPM itl ?

Getting lost in the why did the Pacers trade George Hill for Jeff Teagues this year is how bad this Al Jefferson contract is looking.

The dudes 32 already and lately has been playing 6 minutes a game(partly because of blowouts, but hes also only played 12 minutes total in the first halves of the last 3 games) losing playing time to Kevin Seraphin and Lavoy Allen. And when Al has played hes been real bad.

PG and Turner deserve better.

Kaminsky is awful. And letting go of BB "because you have frank" is even worse. Getting rid of BB, drafting frank and passing on Winslow was embarrassingly bad and it holds true even more so now.

Danny ainge made Horford the second highest paid player in the league, nobody's perfect

If you're granting health, then all of those guys are major dogs to be as good as Brow is now and he's 23.

It looks better now because Biyombo is on $17m+/yr and Kaminsky is a better player than Winslow.
also the Hornets seemed to do fine without Biyombo, maybe there's a cost to having a guy out there who can't do anything on offense (same with Winslow)

C'mon in any world, it goes Davis, Towns, Kristian, Joel

So much this. If NOP, who's non AD squad I've never really liked, only had average injury issues the last 1.1 years it wouldn't even be a discussion.

AD has proved that he can be a top 3 player ITL, to put those guys above him given good health for all is proposterous.
