there is no way Phil Jackson called Tony Kukoc's group of friends, his posse. this season his assisted% has gone down and unsurprisingly he is shooting less often at the rim (proportionally) and at a worse % so far. could change but that's the expected result of a reduction in assisted% all other things being equal. i think wig is currently 'ok' at doing this stuff, but his .58 ts is bouyed by very unsustainable 3pt shooting and i think his shot distribution is still that of a meh-efficiency player other than a slight uptick in foul drawing

sportsvu data had the gap at something like 15% league-wide for assisted vs unassisted attempts (with lots of variation between teams and players). not to mention shot clock effects of getting the ball later without time to explore a full set
