NBA reffing is a joke. Go and watch the end of the Denver/ATL game if you want to see how refs become millionaires. Denver's up 8 with 1:52 to go, and they send ATL to the line 9 straight times..... to go up without making a single field goal. T'd up the coach who did pretty much nothing in the process as well.

Lol, so Chris Paul is the 4th best PG in the league? There's no universe where Lowry > CP3. Having a nice season though. Also sucked a big bag of dicks in the playoffs the last 2 years.

I guess Harden is in the conversation, but Lowry does pretty much everything Paul does except slightly better + he's a really good rebounder for a PG

Thought Westbrook+ Curry were clearly 1 and 2 in no particular order.

I mean Lowry is a part of 2 lineups this year that lead the league in Ortg-Drtg (better than the Warriors best lineups). Raptors have the best offence in history, it's time to give the guy at the head of that his due. Because of those things you could probably put him in the conversation with Curry and Westbrook, but I will hang off doing that for a while.

Lowry is having by far the best season of his career, and Paul is still having a better season this year nearly across the board. His shooting is slightly worse but Lowry will regress given that he's massively outperforming his career #s there. Paul is a better rebounder, passer, defensive player, higher WS/48, VORP etc. AND a better net rating than Lowry.

Paul's also proven it over countless seasons whereas Lowry has in 29 games this year or whatever. Not taking anything away from Lowry, he's awesome and been fantastic this year. People just underrate CP3 since he's been doing this forever and you forget he's quietly having a historically elite season.

Yikes. CP3 is so underrated.

Paul is grading way better defensively (2.72 DRPM to Lowry's 0.20) and overall (8.93 RPM to Lowry's 6.79). Paul generates significantly more steals in fewer minutes per game.

Paul is averaging 9.6 assists and 2.3 TO. Lowry is averaging 7.3 assists and 2.9 TO.

You even cite rebounding as an advantage to Lowry for some reason but Paul averages more rebounds in fewer minutes (9.3 TRB% this season to Lowry's 7.1).

Paul's on/off is +15.2. Lowry's is +13.9.

I like Lowry a lot and think he's generally underrated (lol @ the dudes that think DeRozan is Toronto's best player or anywhere close) but CP3 is on another level.

Bigt2k4 is under the radar the biggest homer on the forum. Its all raps propaganda mixed in with love for Canadian NBAers.

Lowry is definitely one of my top 5 favourite players in the league and criminally underrated, but come on man. Giving a bad name to the rest of us Lowry truthers.

Bolded seems to be key, at least in talking to people who don't watch a ton of NBA. People only seem to realize how good he is when he's ripping their team a new *******, then he gets the heat "Ahh **** this guy! Someone guard him, don't let him, ah ****!" The rest of the time when he's playing out of his mind it's like he's out of theirs too.

CP3 is #1 in +/- this year. There's an argument he's the MVP of the league. Lowry is sweet but he isn't in Paul's league. Nor is he in Curry or RWB's.

I seem to remember Lowry having absurdly hot streaks of play where he cools down at other points in the season. I wonder if hes gonna play at this level all season. Hes good but I still dont think hes in that toppest level of pgs where the other guys are.

Cp3 is awesome and I agree hes just been good for so long its easy to take him for granted. Another thing Cp3 gets screwed on is playing pg at a time where guys like Westbrook,Curry, and Harden are around who also are playing on absurdly high levels at the same positions. If he was playing in the 90s he would get more credit for how great hes been over his career by alot of people.

As I'm working on being a better stronger version of myself currently. Its time to admit something that is hard for me to admit. I've already admitted it to a friend so I'm going to just get it over and done with here as well.

I've been pretty anti LBJ over my lifespan being a pistons fan and watching the malice at the palace and just being a irrational hater to hate. I said if he beat GS last season he was the best ever. He did that and I'm just gonna put my ego aside and give him his props.

Hes the GOAT better then MJ and he can do more then MJ as far as improving players on his team and basically all the other things the smarter nba guys then me around here already have known. I'm now just trying to enjoy his basketball skills. I'm even hoping he beats GS this season as adding Durant to that team was just overkill.

It's pretty clear now especially after last years finals performance he's better than Jordan. Games 6 and 7 were just incredible and both better than anything Jordan ever accomplished.
