Lol Sixers, what's the title equity over the next 5 years ?

I pick the 60/1 Jazz title equity this year over the next 10 years of 5000/1 sixers

Anyway if Silver is smart, the right move is to destroy that franchise so nobody will ever try such a tanking in the future. NBA can't have 5/6 teams sending all their assets to other teams for picks thats 500 ****ty games nobody wants to watch each season

we've moved on from embiid. it's all about saric now.
02-24-2017 , 02:37 PM
Did they lie about Simmons' MRI or is that a new development? I need to read the news more I guess.
02-24-2017 , 02:39 PM
Is Embiid injury from that game where he like hyper extended his knee twice within like 15 minutes and kept playing?

I remember not being able to believe why he was still playing
02-24-2017 , 02:43 PM
I'm pretty sure embiid is gonn sit out a couple more games then will be back to playing.
02-24-2017 , 03:48 PM
Embiid has played fewer than 800 minutes and he's going to play in (at most) 20 games. He's been so good on the floor though, that it still seems like he's a runaway for ROY. Is there anyone else even in contention?

Well rookies tend to suck and other than Embiid they certainly did this season.

Usually I'd expect it to go to any rookie that managed to show a decent amount of upside but really there hasn't been one. The winner might end up being the worst ROY ever

I'm guessing they won't give it to Embiid cause they like to have imaginary limits for amount of games played to win those awards but 800 minutes of Embiid are more valuable to winning basketball games than any other rookie season this year really.

Maybe Buddy Hield transforms into Steph Curry like Vivek projected for the last 30 games or so and gets it

Do the Celtics say yes to 100 Million under the table from the Nyets to get their pick back?
02-24-2017 , 04:22 PM
20 games more*, typo up above.

HYPOTHETICALS

Depends how much owner likes money vs winning. Impossible to tell.

Embiid being a rookie still makes me laugh. Dude has been getting checks for almost three years.

You've got some explaining to do about what happened last night with Ty Lawson inbounding the ball. Your team is in a middle of a playoff fight and they are WILing it up. Just embarrassing

lol Seadoods

He was probably flossin so hard over our bet after the Plumlee trade, then Mavs get Nerlens and the Doods get rekt by a Boogie-less Kangz

Malcolm Brogdon has been legitimately nice for the Bucks

Meh I called it. Sacto playing amazing after losing a player who collectively had their tense for the last few years reminded me of when Denver traded Melo. They trounced a good Memphis team with almost nobody on their roster, then beat the EC Champion Celtics by 15 the very next game with their new players. I think there is something to be said for team going through all that turmoil finally being able to exhale.

As far as the inbound play, they were down 15 with 2:35 and Sacto had possession, I think they were better off just letting the clock run out since they have the dreaded Pacfic-Mountain B2B tonight.

@Thayer - Of all the FREE MONEY bets I've made this year, and I'm probably going to sweep, yours has been the free-est. I would say minnesotasam's but he did make the bet early in the seaon where a lot of people thought the Wolves would win 40+. I honestly thought it was some form of charity and that's the only reason I accepted. I did not floss as I'm not a flosser unlessed flossed upon, but I think it is a very bad bet for you.

Get 'em KD, my respect level went up a few notches too.

He's right as well, I find Shaqtin' quite funny when it's legit funny things they are highlighting, but a lot of the stuff he burns Javale on are cherry-picked plays--guys airball freethrows and miss dunks all the time.

@Thayer

We got:

Spoiler:

Gallo
Wilson Chandler
Mozgov which became 2 firsts
2 years of Kosta, which became Darrell Arthur + Joffrey, which became Darrell Arthur + 2 2nds
1st that in addition to Afflalo became one year of Iggy, which became crap
Raymond Felton, which became Andre Miller + Kenneth Faried instead of Nolan Smith
Jamal Murray, the pick would have been Jacob Poetl

You got:

Spoiler:

If you were hypothetically able to make Shaq shorter, what's the minimum height he could be to have played in the NBA? Say his skills and proportions remained exactly the same, and by "played in the NBA" I mean just have legitimately gotten on the court at least a few times in a season, could have been for like 45 minutes total.
