I don't get why you want butler so much as a Cs fan. Keep the #1 pick in the draft, keep your assets, sign Hayward in the offseason.

Then Lebron will be another year older as well as a bonus to waiting a year.

If the Celts lose Crowder in the deal then what are they really doing? Getting closer to beating Cle but not as close as they can.

Crowded +1 pick in the draft + Gordon Hayward is way better than jimmy butler

All they would need to make it work cap-wise is Houston throwing in some scrub like Kyle Wiltjer.

Frank Isola (almost Broussard level bad at this) saying wildest rumor he's hearing is Dame to Bucks for a package around Jabari.

Dame is my favorite player (besides Giannis). I'd be so blown away if Bucks can land Dame.

Landing Dame while keeping Khris and Thon..would be so money.

Give like a lotto protected 2018 1st and our 2017 2nd or something.

Still I think this is a massive steal and about .02% chance anything like this happens but can dream

Isaiah Thomas is 28 though

Only way this would work is if Portland took on Monroe, doesn't really make too much sense. Or a package of Snell/Henson or something. Salaries don't work

I'd guess they'd take Jabari, Henson (thinking he has more value than monroe?) And like Vaughn or maybe even brogdon to get it done.

Well also wat to the idea of trading Dame for Jabari.

Agreed.

honestly i think butler to the Cs only makes sense if the Cs send zeke in the trade and hope whatever PG they draft this upcoming year is a stud.

butler is great with the ball in his hands but isnt an amazing off-ball shooter (probably worse than crowder), big part of zeke's value is being able to create unassisted offense. not amazing synergy there.

we already have a very good wing-defender rotation, so its not even a huge upgrade there.

Hearing Celtics putting in an offer for Paul George

Personally I think even for a stud 0% chance zekes moves

Woj mini-bomb- Bojan to wizards
02-22-2017 , 05:01 PM
Bojan and mccoullugh for wizards 2017 1st and Nicholson. Seems like a high price for Bojan honestly
02-22-2017 , 05:03 PM
great deal for the Nets, Sean Marks is doing a great job there
02-22-2017 , 05:04 PM
Nets got more for Bojan than the Lakers did for Lou
02-22-2017 , 05:05 PM
Are Nicholson and Thornton on expirings?
02-22-2017 , 05:08 PM
Nicholson isn't. Great deal for both sides as it make room to max porter and also adds a player that will help them.

Crazy to me that 1st rounders are going for bench help but I guess it works out since they are chasing the rangz

They had to take back a much worse contract.

half this thread thinks bench players are worth lottery picks

i'd take the nets pick + either J Brown or Crowder and like it going forward. I think Turner + a stud pick from this draft could be pretty sick.

What good moves has he done?
02-22-2017 , 05:32 PM
the length of the Brewer and Nicholson contracts aren't all that important in evaluating the trades to me, given where the Lakers and Nets are in terms of re-building
02-22-2017 , 05:40 PM
Hearing if Nicholson is real bad he might be stretched anyways
