I think Gallo and Crowder are like the ideal 3/4 pairing in today's nba. Would love them on the court together.

And bobbo, I think Utah will trade Hayward unless somehow next year they are top 5 western team.

Speaking of Utah, their ball movement and patience really impresses me. I think they could be a top 5 team ITW with just a little bit of luck on the injury front.

This is the proposol that's been posted that's the most interesting imo. There's a lot going on there.

Thoughts on Gallo/Nurk for Horford/Teague Dood?

I'd say no because Horford is gone and Teague doesn't move the needle much long term.

I love Horford though and would rather just deal directly with ATL, like 2 firsts (and whatever we can get for Faried) for Horford or whatever it is in picks they want.. Then try to get him to commit to a monster deal.

Horford/Jokic/Nurkic is a pretty sexy front line

It looks like he's talking about the 84-85 season for Bird. Bird only made 56 3's that year.

eta: Birds career high for 3s made in a season was 98. Lol 80s NBA. Did they know 3 is worth more than 2?

Big (likely 100% fake) rumor going about is

Kaminaky/Kemba

For

Monroe/baylesss/2018 1st

Nuggets shopping Lauvgerne. Obv happy with Nurkic /jokic
02-05-2016 , 02:15 PM
They want a late first. If they can get that it would be sweet considering he was a draft and stash late second.

Denver Radio apparently said Doc reached out to Denver about Blake Griffin. I have not seen a report about it yet.
02-05-2016 , 02:29 PM
I thought Utah was going to be 2 seed this season according to y'all?

Rumors of Griffin deals being entertained, assume Ainge is all over it. That's a deal where the BKN pick being moved actually makes sense

Who is this Mitch Lawrence guy? That's the only like I can find:

The Clippers have talked to the Nuggets about trading Blake Griffin to Denver, per NBA sources.

With 4 players barely 20 they only need 2 of those guys to turn into stars to be very good, and one is looking like that in his rookie year. They've also got 3 surplus firsts, and Connelly has been a wizard at drafting.

Jokic is obviously very good.
Harris has moments but not sure hes ever going. to be someone youd want as a critical piece on a great team. Hes still a negative player
Think itd be a stretch to say Barton or Nurkic are ever above average starters
Mudiay who knows, could be a nice piece or just a dumpster fire
Gallo and Faried gonna be exactly what they are

lol wilson chandler

I think theres a ceiling if pretty nice alight above average team. Contending almost completely out of question and real chance of just being very average. I bring this all up because it still makes sense to me for Denver to be jockeying for draft picks

a Blake for Gallo trade sounds plausible, maybe with a third team involved

Don't think anyone was that high on them and they've been crushed by injuries as well

Since the Nuggets seem to like Wilson Chandler, are they the sort of team that would want to acquire Thad Young?

Read this blog for the first time today and the analysis is quite good. He writes a lot about college ball too.

Interestingly, he suggested Hassan Whiteside would be a great fit on the Wizards. Also covered the current problems with the Heat roster well (cliffs: almost all on Wade).

Gallo back to being super overrated lol. Nothing remotely fair about a Griffin/Gallo swap or moving the BKN pick for Gallo. Anyway, appears clips "discussing" = Nuggets contacting them

They will be a nice alright team last year and would have this if it weren't for WOAT PG play and injuries... Then they have 3+ years of literally half of their rotation players improving plus their older guys hitting their prime. Plus 3 surplus firsts, max cap space (who doesn't), and only Gallo left to re-sign.

The culture they are building is pretty great which I think is most important. Does that 8 man rotation contend? Probably not but it puts them in a position to get lucky and still be good, which is imo a better option than adding to your already large stash of draft picks.

All teams are contacting the Clippers about Blake.

The reason we are seeing reports is because Nuggets must have came in with a big offer and made the Clippers discuss it

I don't see Young going to Detroit, but I can see the Pistons pulling in a third team to take Young.

Meh, their "ball movement and patience" reminds me too much of a college offense. They take way too long to get into their offense and waste a lot of time with pointless passes.

They're #1 in passes per game but 4th to last in potential assists.
